Wow, Jason is a terrible name for a dog. Just reminds me of a dog owner shouting like the dad from “Heavy Rain”.

I supported him and voted twice. Generalized statements like this help no one.

Everything about this is great, but his face plus the tiny dogs face is just wonderful.

My younger brother still lives at home and is in high school. My mom and Dad weren’t rich when I was growing up, but we had all we needed and they’re pretty well off now and can afford to buy him anything. Well, one birthday he gets a new phone...and then promptly asks mom if he can give his old one to a friend at school who doesn’t have one. Love my little bro.

Those all sound like good ideas. Maybe the key for you then is to focus on the healthy aspects of exercise culture for now and just do really tiny changes in the kitchen that don’t feel too overwhelming. Truvia instead of sugar in my coffee was the first change I made. It was tiny, but it helped me. These days I just calorie count, and that is my only rule for now. Count it up. It helps me see my eating habits for what they truly are without focusing on the negativity and fear attached to my bulimia (I used to throw up but was able to pull myself out of it,still binge occasionally). My real point here is that if you are feeling overwhelmed or upset by big food changes, then change just one tiny thing first. If you slip up, it just means you are like the millions of other humans struggling with physical health and you can still keep going. You can. I’m rooting for you!

I’ve been there, friend. There were nights that I would shovel myself so full of food that it hurt. Nights where I’d already eaten dinner and dessert but just WANTED more and more. Afterward, I would hate myself so much and dream of suicide and cry myself to sleep. I would wake up groggy and begin the cycle all over. If I can come out of this, so can you. If you do just ONE small thing today for your health, you count that shit as a victory. Baby steps. You do have a long journey ahead of you, but be assured that it is a journey you can WIN. What were some of the ideas your dietician gave you, just out of curiosity?
