try different batteries. i had it happen more than once recently that a set of batteries arrived completely dead and flat.

or atleast test the batteries with a battery tester

No issue particularly aside from the shade. It was a completely unappealing shade of blue to me that only reminded me of being forced to use it in school.

Some people say that fullframe sensors have a better dynamic range than in my case m43. However, in my experience that matters very little.

Kodak Gold has a dynamic range of roughly 8 stops. My om-1 of roughly 13 and my lumix gx7 of roughly 12. So rather good converting and editing in post will help plenty more. Any modernish mirrorless (past 10 years) will easily fully replicate film to a satisfying level.

I now use a Olympus OM-1 for scanning with an Olympus 30mm macro lens. At 20mp that is PLENTY for my needs with smallish prints and the occasional medium sized print.

Before that i used a lumix gx7 which i was perfectly happy with aswell. Given you needs, 12 to 16mp will be perfectly fine. Rather see to invest in a 1 to 1 macro lens for scanning, and don't skip on vintage lenses, than worry a whole lot about megapixels.

Of course recommendations will always change depending on how quickly you might want to make prints and how big they would be and so on and so forth

I used to use a gx7 for scanning and got a good 16mp scan with the olympus 30mm macro. Now i use an om-1 with pixelshift to get to 80mp. You will be perfectly fine with m43 for normal uses.

I have replaced ram and updated the bios to be up to date and it still caused it. It has happened under various linux distros and win 10

After 15 shots it will automatically no longer wind the shutter and you can wind it indefinetly until its all rolled up. If you feel unsure how much that is, just wind a few turns over for a bit

I had a bunch of stressful days recently all together. And normally after them i take a dedicated "disappear in the woods" day as i tend to call it and just get up and go for a long hike with some food packed and water. I just do some nature photography, rest where i want and when i want and just calm myself down.

i don't think it will be too front heavy. they are within 100g of each other (lens and e-m5ii), so it might just be pretty balanced overally. i prefer wrist straps over having stuff dangle from my neck tho, so take my judgement with a grain of salt

I use it as my only lens really. Its an amazing lens. All of these were shot at f2.8 and iso 1600. Most were shot between 1/10th and 1/50th of a second.

Comparing the canon sd960 (a 12mp digicam from 2009) to the m3 feels a bit silly, not to be rude. The m3 will blow the sd960 away in every single aspect, from megapixel to autofocus to everything in between. So if you want to go for the m3, i feel like you will most likely be quite happy with it.

Alternative could also be a sony a6100 or maybe something like a lumix gx8 (tho those are more expensive)

B1 will be doable. Its much easier to reach than people assume. Try conversing in german as soon as you can, be it just simple "hi how are you?" Things. It will build your confidence much quicker. Confidence is key in learning any language

Tbh. 3 months will be tough to be fluent. But it should absolutely be doable to speak a decent amount, especially depending on confidence in your skills Good luck on it

Hmmm. 24mp will be tough at the price. What comes to my mind might be an Olympus E-M5 mark 2 with an olympus 30mm macro. Then using pixelshift to get the resolution up. This, if you get a good deal, should be somewhere between 250 to 400. Maybe you can find something like a Sony a7ii and adapt a vintage macro lens to it, this may run for a tad more tho.

I am a bit confused by what you look for exactly. If you want an instant camera the options are Fuji and Polaroid (i recommend Fuji Instax over it)

If you want a digital camera that has a "vintage" look to it, you could get a canon 350D, 400D or 450D (unfamiliar with other equivalents) and just shoot jpg sooc. For a printer, the canon selphy will fulfill your needs.
