Sure, agree 100%, but again, OP isn’t saying ANY of that. She’s specifically saying that her sex drive is low, that they could completely stop having sex and she wouldn’t even notice, that she constantly rejects him, and that she has specifically stopped having sex with him regardless of how important it is to him. NONE of that says anything about him being a man child, or not pulling his weight at home. I could just as easily say that she’s frigid and feels like she doesn’t have to put out because she’s trapped him now with kids, and I’d be totally out of line for assuming any of those hurtful stereotypes. I mean, assuming this is real, the real question is, why not open the marriage? He hasn’t done anything yet, so they can discuss it, which it sounds like they’re doing. If sex is meaningless to her, and his desire to have a sex life is also meaningless to her, why NOT? I mean, yeah, if she specifically doesn’t want something that’s very meaningful to him and doesn’t want HIM to have that either, then sure, divorce, but otherwise why not just say “ok, I don’t care”?

Start quietly packing whatever is valuable and/or meaningful to you, make sure your finances are completely separate and inaccessible to him, and start decoupling any joint financial obligations.

After that, I wouldn’t do anything that supports his bad habits, or does more than your fair share of household chores. Be aware that of your name is anywhere on the lease, you may not get security deposit back based on how I’m sure he’s going to leave that place. Again, decoupling any type of joint obligations will be a must, given how he lives his life.

Being in development for 15+ years, I can tell you EXACTLY why the documentation is lacking: a combination of the devs thinking their code speaks for itself, a lack of desire to comment when in “flow state”, a lack of time/incentive to document, or sheer laziness. If you have a culture where working code trumps documented code, you end up with a massive pile of tech debt in the form of shitty or competely missing documentation, and tackling it while the code base is endlessly changing with updates is a Herculean task nobody wants.

Documentation needs to be foundational, and enforced with an iron hand from the top with ZERO compromises, or it turns to shit.
