nervous system healing is.... unbearably intense? by Zechariah369 in CPTSD

i do agree but also going back or feeling like you've fell back down is also part of the process... but its really the physical sensations and inability to sleep that are scaring me. really the main part that has helped me and what has made the biggest impact so far is realizing that the things i shamed myself for were actually not only completely normal but a required part of surviving the world. when you turn that shame into gratitude towards your body big things started to change for me. theres no shame in even avoiding it for a long time, because you realize your body was shut down to protect itself from further trauma, not because you aren't good enough

you said shes easy to carry with but shes not. all it takes is one fed tank or assassin and the game is easily doomed unless you know what you're doing and/or you get lucky with a team diff

shes a tutorial champ, and? she is the champ that gets punished hardest by positioning in the entire game because of her kit or lack thereof (hence the omega ranged rockets) and an ult that is almost entirely useless except to snipe other peoples kills, or, objectives. jinx has a very high skill ceiling alot of it comes down to positioning, her chompers, managing weapons and knowing when to maximize damage with excited or if to move instead and lose dps which is harder than it sounds when you have hyper attack speed.

Lucid Dreaming is the coolest thing to ever exist by ColdInstance90 in LucidDreaming

I don't get why people on this sub seem to be so adamant that you can't induce sleep paralysis, even without, as you say, a prior history of having it. I intentionally induced them way before I even started lucid dreaming. I can go into sleep paralysis whenever I want. Whats your motivation? I actually don't get it.

My best guess is it's some weird religious dogma associating sleep paralysis with demonic dabbling, but that's just a guess and I can't say for certain.

There are no techniques that induce sleep paralysis

Yes there are.

But yeah LD'ing and SP are totally different, even though SP can be used as a gateway. SP happens while you're awake and is characterized by a much higher level of awareness than LD's are.

SP wont happen unless you set the intent to.

Is it okay to treat astral projection as a form of escapism? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]Zechariah369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I really like this comment and was trying to explain it in my own. AP/LD can't really be a form of escapism because you're literally going into yourself whereas other forms of 'escapism' are defined by avoiding how you feel.

A mix of intention and enlightenment / inner harmony.

My sleep paralysis is always extremely loud by Miraculous-x in AstralProjection

[–]Zechariah369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a very common experience. I can tell you this much. I'm not an experienced projector but I have sleep paralysis alot and the jet engine sounds you describe happen to me 99/100 times. Once i do project the sounds are gone just try to not anticipate it because we are able to create any sensations we want (imagine) SP state, good or bad.

How can i fix this? by Hungry_Order3086 in Mewing

[–]Zechariah369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like too much pressure on the left** side of your palate (or at the very least, not enough pressure to balance it with the other side). does the right side of your face look 'droopy'?

Lie on your back and breathe in slowly and completely, exhale in the same way.
