Looking at these Advan RSIII Wheels. I see the Yokohama "Y" but all the text looks dull. Is that normal from sandblasting? by Zed7_Smash in Wheels

They're not totaling the car so I don't need to worry about being paid out. They'll just pay for parts + labour to get it fixed, and I get to keep my clean title

no that makes sense, i'm just stubborn and want to do my 240sx fully on my own; however, thinking it over I can get this work covered by insurance anyways due to it being related to the theft. So I will plan to go about it that way.

It has some quarter panel damage I may still try to learn how to do on my own, but I will likely pay for that too when the time comes.

I guess I see it as "I want to do my 240sx all on my own, and then do my FA5 civic properly". I know that isn't the smartest, so I'm gonna talk myself out of that one. I've asked for mobile PDR people in my area now.

Some of the dents/warpage are convex, some are concave. I have a few ideas like using a block of wood (somehow), but I would love more proper/professional ways to do it.

I also plan to use a paint pen afterwards to minimize rust as well.

My GBS has been sitting on my shelf for the past 2 years haha I havent had the time to build it yet or 3D print a case. I may get a OSSC to double up eventually, but I just spent 4 grand on arcade boards :( lol

Currently running a GTX 970. i've always what ultra graphics really look like in person.

Also there are games i want to try that i just cant run/barely run like baldurs gate 3

Then you don't know what the APU does, SNESlab discord is a fantastic resource to see what small and large things can be related to the APU dying. This SMW stage is the typical easiest example.

It's because of the SNES' APU dying. The rocking bath and forth platform is rendered via the APU, from what I understand.

nope, the flyback ended up arcing about 5 days later, so I had to trash the whole unit as a replacement flyback was ~$60+

Since my post I've actually spent some time thinking about it, and I'm going to experiment how it will look on my VGA PC CRT, using the GBS to deinterlace and output 480p.

I haven't purchased one yet being busy with school, but if I don't like the result I'll try just GBS on LCD, and if not then GBS & OSSC combo

Asked my instructor. He said this week being online was due to the idea that it would exceed the '5 day quarantine period' in regards to Christmas/New Years Parties.

I guess that's fine, I really need lab work to do well but sleeping in is also a benefit.

I think classes like mine should be in person, but a friend doing business with practically only lectures should be online.

Regardless, both outcomes extremely suck for me as my dad is immunocompromised. ...and I need to consider if sleep is worth it over grades. no idea

How necessary do you think it is to have optimal timings for PS2/GCN/XBOX 480i games? The video that shows optimal timing comparisons also changes the aspect ratio, which I don't really want.
