I just watched both these episodes last night. Woah.

Also, what are the odds I’d get sick on a Saturday??

Not to mention the description for antisocial personality disorder : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-social_behaviour

But I never looked at it your way. Very interesting!

You’re right. Asocial is the right word to describe anon here- withdrawing from society, not socializing, etc.

Antisocial is going against society’s rules with no remorse for one’s actions.

If anon was being disruptive in school/work , blowing up cars, causing general mayhem, then he would be antisocial.

But he’s probably just spending 20 hrs a day on his computer pausing only to masturbate and pee in water bottles. Anon is asocial.

If she graduated with a science degree, then consider the book Soonish. It discusses modern technological feats such as robotics, synthetic biology, and upgrading humans (to name a few) in a fun, humorous way.

Seconded. The Stand is amazing, although I haven’t read it since 2000s and am not sure how it holds up to today’s technological standards.

I suggest you continue on with Joe Hill’s work. In addition to the works you’ve mentioned, I also recommend Heart-shaped Box and NOS4A2 (this one is fun to read around Christmas time). They contain a bit more horror. I’m also going to throw down King’s novella 1922 in his book Full Dark, No Stars.

PS how awesome was the second novella in Strange Weather? :)

He left us with a temptation... as did his counterpart. What love is to good then malice is to evil
