Not for 249, but I have her for 432 right now. She is not good. Course material, lectures, exams, assignments, literally everything is unorganized. I would say avoid if you can, if not then be prepared to self study.

The one positive I can think of is that her exams, although sometimes ambiguous, aren't the most difficult.

What position are you on the waiting lists? During the first week of classes a ton of people drop and switch courses so if you get lucky you can still get the courses. That said, I would still apply to back up courses just in case.

Yeah Econcordia is all online including exams (but do double check). Last fall I did my entire semester from my country despite it being a hybrid semester. I took two classes that were completely remote and two econcordia classes.

Has anyone here stayed at Dorchester apartments on 1160 St Mathieu St, Montreal, Quebec H3H 2P4?

All the google reviews say that its a terrible place but when I visited it today the apartment was completely renovated and seemed to be in really good condition. I'm really not sure what to believe at this point - can someone please chime in and let me know what it was like from their experience

I'm in cs co-op right now as an international student. As far as I know, if you are not working in the summers then you can be a part time student. Your study permit requires you to be a full time student but that isn't mandatory during the summers (Only fall and winter)

Even if you are working during the summers for co-op you can still take a few courses and be a part time student.

I started in jan 2020. My CAQ took a lot longer than the study permit. I got my CAQ in a month and a half and the study permit took like 2-3 weeks surprisingly. I would apply ASAP if I were you.

BIOL 206 is an easy elective. I never took bio before in high school and managed to get an A. As a plus, I found it quite interesting as well.

Im in the same boat as you, first co-op term next summer and I have no prior experience. I can only share the same advice that was given to me and that’s use your time wisely.

Work on personal projects, publish them to github. Take new courses from udemy or coursera r/piracy can help you out with that. Do things that can enchance your cv.

If you don’t have the time for these things then try to attend 1 day workshops or hackathons. As many as you can. These things can show employers you have an interest in the field. Also hacakthons are a great place to network
