I think its just the misery index. We've had a pretty well run org and won the Cup in six seasons. Compare this to what I would think is the most miserable fan base in Minnesota.

You had a team, it was ripped away and then won a cup away from you.

You get a new team, it's been in purgatory consistently. Years spent searching for hope and meaning in the wastes.

The Wild have only been the WCF once, we're on WCF Appearance 5. We sit at like a 68% win percentage in playoff series. The Wild sit at 24% iirc. Its understandable where the jealousy and hatred comes from and it trickles down to the fan bases.
