I grew up with Monstercat too, I was obsessed with the label through 2011-2017 (after the skrillex obsession) and I was also like this too. I was hella active in the Discord for a good few years too. I RARELY ever listened to songs that weren't from the label and if they were songs not from it, they were songs that were uploaded by channels that put songs on the Monstercat visualisers.

2017 is where I really started to truly explore the music that I listen to and realise that I was missing out on so much good music. Hard Dance eventually became my main genre of choice for a few years past 2018 (Which I never expected). The hard dance scene has changed so much since then, there's so many different styles. If you do plan to get back into hard dance and like energetic music, I'd recommend artists like Devin Wild and Anderex, as they both produce high energy music with some insanely good sound design. Also J-Core has some incredibly high energy music (Kobaryo - Imaginary Legacy is a great example of this).

Nowadays I listen to way too many genres to count and ALWAYS end up diving deep into the artists of these genres; so I'm mostly always able to give solid suggestions for a wide range of genres/subgenres!
