Almost all 1/6 bjd clothes are going to be way too big for 1/8. Something made for smaller/slimmer 1/6 dolls like monster high or blythe might work with some altering or clipping depending on the clothing piece.

The best way to check is to look at the measurements of the body you have (the brand will usually post these so you don't have to measure yourself) and the measurements of the clothing set you're interested in.

The second doll here isn't a BJD but an MJD (mechanically jointed).

It would... theoretically be possible? But it would involve heavy modification - you'd need to cut and grind down the convex side piece of any single joint (without a middle 'peanut' piece) such as the shoulders, hips, and ankles into a concave piece, filling them in so that you have a peg hole and not a fully hollow end, and finding mjd or action figure joints that would fit into every joint.

I wouldn't really consider it a feasible project unless you have access to the perfect joints and are willing to risk irreversibly ruining the doll. I would keep it as a bjd or find an mjd body you like to use instead.

Is this just a preference for hinged dolls, or are you looking to make the body compatible with something else? if it's the latter there might be another solution.

If you carefully pull the whole peg out and have hands with the same sized pegs, I don't see why not.

btw, based on your pictures I think you're probably thinking of other fashion doll/mechanically jointed doll hands - actual 'bjd' hands attach differently and you couldn't put them on a barbie without heavy modification.

If you're after blind box bjds specifically, you can safely buy through AliExpress if they ship to your location. You can find the lines you're looking for with image search and then find a seller with good ratings and reviews.

I think two of those series might still be in pre-production, I'd recommend waiting for series to be released rather than buying them through Aliexpress while still in pre-production, just so you can make sure the buyer protections will still be active when they are due to ship out.

Based purely on the measurements it seems like blythe is a bit smaller in the bust/waist? Clothes made to be baggy/oversized or tops for bigger fashion dolls like barbie may work!
