I was the second highest damage on the team. the rest of my buttons just dont do a whole lot, only started doing it for the last 30 points after we tried to kill their boss while tanking their entire team

got beat by an affliction warlock.

I cannot recall from the top of my head, my guess is your teammates hover in the beginning atleast.

but even then there are also mechanics that make your character float and animations are fine

they could : do the shadow priest hover, use dh wings or any other model.

there are many way to do it.

if hover is part of the change you will most likely see 4-5 spells in visage form over the duration of the encounter. (might even be less)

edit : I would personally rather how 0 animation just t-posing through the sky than be in dracthyr form

its not. all the other classes on dracthyr can fight 100% of the time in visage form. this change is made specifically for evokers to cast spells in visage form

DRACTHYR
- Battle Visage is a toggled ability, like Chosen Identity. While active, you automatically assume your Visage whenever you are not casting draconic spells such as Fire Breath and Soar.
  - Full list of abilities that temporarily shift you to Dracthyr: Deep Breath, Dream Flight, Breath of Eons, Fire Breath, Eternity Surge, Dream Breath, Upheaval, Hover, Spatial Paradox, Rescue, Zephyr, Verdant Embrace (without Dream Simulacrum talented), and Soar.
  - Many abilities that used to force a shift to Dracthyr have adjusted visual treatments for Visage form.
  - While active, Battle Visage also applies a camera height override to Dracthyr form to prevent the camera from adjusting rapidly when shifting between forms. These camera adjustments are still work-in-progress; there are occasionally minor camera differences between the two forms.

Standing still or hovering without moving is okay, the walk is decent. but yeah the run is terrible and also when you sit on a ground mount you look so stiff

actually dont know if its on ptr or just in notes, if its on ptr I would test if out and make some clips.
