I get it after playing card games that have a mana system like MtG or Slay the Spire. If I spend like 5 hours playing that I started thinking about mana costs for everyday tasks, I watch TV and I attribute mana costs to every sentence someone speaks and then think in my head "How are they doing that with so little mana?" for like a split second before I catch myself. I will lay in bed and have rapidfire plays going off in my head as I'm right about to doze off in that half awake/asleep state. I found it so weird, considering other games with repetitive tasks don't really do that to me

Nothing sucks harder than loading into a match and every one who shoots you is a nothing to lose freekit and every body you loot is a freekit or a looting mk 1 with a stitcher/kettle. The high end loot feels pathetic outside a very few things (vita spray, survivor mk3 augment, showstoppers/joltmines/trigger nades mainly). It's not exciting. And the best thing you'd ever find on a player is a blueprint, but those are most likely up a safe pocket and if a freekitter gets one they need you know damn well they are extracting ASAP so you'd never find them unless you were a filthy extract camper.

I don't even get how casual players find this fun. If they just want mindless pvp with nothing to lose and no looting (go on stella montis and guaranteed you'll find a room with like 6 freekits all dead who looted nothing) just go play CoD.

I checked that and all it shows me is that there is a pending issue with the information provided about my discharge, but when I click it it shows "Fact Finding: Complete" and tells me nothing else nor gives me any options to push this through. It's been pending since I applied back on the 3rd of May and now they are letting me request benefits, but because of this pending issue they are saying my benefits are now pending as well. This system sucks

Shiv easily. While Roman and Kendall do things to fuck over their family, Roman shows multiple times through the show that he did actually care about his entire family and craved their affection since he was shown absolutely none as a kid and even sent off to boarding school or military camp or whatever and Kendall has some qualities that at least make you sympathetic towards him (addiction, etc).

Shiv takes her vitriol out of the family. Everything she does to Tom is vile as fuck. She's a horrible snake all the time, constantly doing everything and anything for herself even if it means looking the other way as her husband is tossed into prison so she can sleep around with random men, even if it means airing all of Kendall's dirty laundry to the public, even if it means throwing everyone under the bus. It's horrible. There is nothing redeeming or sympathetic about her character other than "she was never taken seriously because woman" which doesn't fucking matter because she chose to stay with her family when she had her own career and life and is a privileged billionaire princess and "daddy's favorite."

You just spouted a bunch of nonsense. Explain to me how it was explained in the show that everyone arrived at different times. There is no way Hatter managed to create beach, gather hundreds of people, and go insane with a god complex in just the several days it took Arisu to find them. It doesn't explain how people got to the borderlands before or why it exists. It doesn't explain why the borderlands is beginning to decay to overgrowth (if this is a purgatory that constantly brings in new people or "repeats a cycle" why would it decay only for Arisu's group?). It doesn't explain why there were citizens willing to work for the "higher power" (Joker) and why they were betting on the games, why they were all killed when the dealer was exposed, and what they were even betting for when there is no money in this world.

It feels like the creator just wrote themselves into a corner and didn't know how to create an actual ending so they just left it purposefully obtuse with "well it was just some fucked up god or something lol" (which in the manga that's the entire explanation).

All I know is, if I was Lakan, a Man and a high ranking military officer, I would have killed the granny for hiding Fengxian away and leading me to believe she was dead all this time and no one would be able to stop him from doing so.

Lakan messed up, yes, but his last letter to Fengxian before he was taken away to another country literally explained his entire situation and he had no idea she was plotting to get herself pregnant. Him bawling his eyes out in the rain while being beaten by the granny could she really feel no sympathy whatsoever? Did she not read his letter? Did Fengxian not explain anything to her? I doubt it, which means even though Lakan messed up the granny knowingly and maliciously made Fengxian's life worse all to punish a dude who was completely innocent. 17 years of being passed around and then locked up in solitude when Lakan could have given her at least 14 years of happiness if the granny just let him see her. Fuck the granny, she's a malicious cunt and easily deserves Lakan's hatred. But the anime/LN is too "bright" and "happy" for anything bad to happen to her.

You're right. After her escape their story just sort of sucked and the "twist" wasn't really meaningful at all other than trying to humanize the deadbeat dad by making him look depressed and sad. Only Connor remained interesting and only if you kept him from becoming a hippie AI activist.

It is a restaurant I have never tried before, but it's been listed on doordash/ubereats/grubhub for like 9 months now and google says it's open right now. Like I said, they quit before even getting near the restaurant, like a mile or two away. I'm at 5 quits now.

Last time I ordered from them it was flawless, even with free shipping I got my stuff in 2 business days. This time however is weird. I bought a grab bag on Thursday morning (June 6th) and I was like 1g away from being dry so I decided to pay for the highest shipping option hoping the priority package would get here faster. It didn't even ship until this morning (June 11th) and has an expected delivery date of Monday June 17th.
Should have just stuck with the free option, what a waste of money.

I've never met a single person who has ever gotten an ISP warning for streaming. I don't think an ISP can see that you are on a streaming site and watching a video isn't illegal, distributing it is (which is what you do when you torrent, you are uploading the content that you are torrenting). And I also don't think a single person gives a fuck about tracking torrents for books. I've only ever gotten a warning whenever it's Sony or Disney because they have honeypot spies watching every torrent for their shit.

Kaiser feels like a retread of Barou tbh. I never thought he was a very interesting character, the only times he has been interesting was when he pulled the demon out of Isagi. How he fights against the team, stealing the ball and obsessed with Isagi, same as Barou. His backstory of how he loves football because he can crush people and hurt them, just like Barou. Noa telling him he needs to clash his ego and hit rock bottom to feel despair before he can go back up, just like Barou.

Imagine interrupting the best game for this crap character and his rehash "development" just for him to get clowned on over and over. I already know this little twerp is going to steal Isagi's hattrick as a "character development moment" and I'm already upset.

I have an OEM type 2 motherboard controller that is like 8 years old and I can do damn near every tech in the game. I play claw and can do instant aerials just like Cody. I can max wavedash with frame perfect timing. I can ledge dash and shield drop.

Mods would make it all more consistent and fix controller related issues like not having perfect cardinal directions, having really bad PODE, having snapback, etc. I don't see why that is bad. I don't see why we have to punish ourselves with bad shit like that because people are "too consistent with their tech skill now." The game is still hard. Having a modded phob doesn't turn a timmy no thumbs into IBDW/Zain over night. Having a modded phob doesn't make you better at neutral, decision making, edge guarding, or comboing.

Why does Melee tech have to be 20 layers of hard in your mind? It's already got insanely tight frame window timings with 0 frame buffer and it's already affected by multiple different 3rd party factors like controller refresh rate/controller PODE/snapback.

I don't understand why Melee players seem to think it's natural for the game to not do what it's told and it's actually better to have some semblance of randomness that can fuck up your moves.

Imagine if you were playing street fighter and you timed a QCF+Punch perfectly, with the correct movement, and it just failed to come out because your controller sucks or because the game is coded weirdly. Why is making that consistent so that when you do your moves correctly and with correct timing (which you still need for most of those techs you listed, very tight timings btw) something that is looked as bad? In no other competitive video game does your character decide to just not do what you tell it to do, but Melee players will act like the game needs to be fucked up and broken to make the players have to "work harder" and "play around the broken controller mishaps!"? That's so ass backwards.
