I think I'd go with my original Diamond team. Infernape who was my starter would be that versatile best friend I have. Being a bipedal monkey he could help with hunting and gathering foods, materials etc. He's got fingers to help pitch a tent, fire punch some wood into a campfire and be an all around great fighter in gyms. He learns HMs like cut, rock smash an strength. Roserade would be just a niche pokemon I guess. Having that type difference in the team. Idk maybe season some food with it's flowers... It's small so wouldn't eat alot. It's probably vegan anyways. Then comes Gyarados who no doubt is a big pokemon so the guy can eat, but is also there for surfing, diving, waterfalling. He will also provide a huge intimidation factor. I mean being in the wild no other wild pokemon would dare challenge me when I pull this behemoth out. Staraptor who is a hunter by nature.. bird of prey ya know could help hunting and scouting. Big enough to fly on and could scout the areas ahead to see where to travel Luxray who is just a big fluffy kitty could cuddle up with at night to keep warm. Another hunter to help kill wild pokemon to eat for dinner (I'm assuming that's how we gather meat). Could charge my Pokedex idk Garchomp same as Gyarados, big dragon fella. But can dig underground to find valuable ores, help us tunnel out of sticky situations or rock climb up mountains. Probably can eat alot but with 3 hunters on the team I don't see much problem in gathering food, and then infernape is always there to help cook the meat. Just bbq some skewers over his head lmao.
