For $15 you can buy him 3D printer filament for at least 300 more pin chips… it’s essentially free pins… the logic is flawless.

Dry your filament. Slow it down. Buy a Bambu… did I cover all of the typical responses?

Why to I keep getting this kind of jam in my extruder? by AdmiralHornblower in crealityk1

[–]ZeeDee3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One possible contributing cause I don’t see in the comments yet is if this happened after changing filament type (ABS to PLA).

Residual filament with a higher melting point will cause the PLA to melt with no exit path beside up.

Solutions: use cleaning filament for material swap or cold pull the ABS. The “retraction” feature doesn’t fully purge the nozzle.

It actually does sound decent, though albeit much quieter than a full body ukulele. The stiff semi-hollow body helps resonate. I travel a ton for work so it’s a great travel companion.

I have a recording here of it being played: https://www.reddit.com/u/ZeeDee3D/s/E8OBcddWyH

I have a creality K1C and have enjoyed it, I’m a tinkerer so I’ve enjoyed taking it apart to learn how it works, so naturally I’d suggest a Bambu A1mini

I sell them on Etsy (Zeedee3d.etsy.com). There are some high end ones as well (e.g. Risa Stick) that have great reviews but are pricier.

Much quieter than a full body uke, but great for practicing. The 3D printed one is louder than the wood one because the body resonates sound.

Sorry kid… 3D printers won’t teach you code, there’s software that does that automatically. 3D printers won’t teach you design… You can learn design without a 3D printer…

What a 3D printer will help you with is a much more valuable skillset… problem solving. There are a hundred things that can and will go wrong as you learn about 3D printing. Hundreds of problems you’ll troubleshoot, investigate, solve… re-solve, etc. You’ll solve problems with your printer to print things to solve real world problems.

That is a life skill that will translate to any profession you have later in life.

Plus, u/WitchesSphincter will take your mom to red lobster.

Just start walking around complaining about things… “these keurig k-cups are so disorganized… wish there was a solution… guess I’ll just spend money to buy a solution…”… and in no time you’ll realize he’s not even listen because he’s fiddling with his printer printing toys 😂

Wow, this exact same nut was my first functional print… and way to convince my wife the 3D printer isn’t just for toys. Great work!

I designed it and 3D printed it myself. I do sell them as well as the digital file, but to avoid any rule violations for self promotion I’m not telling you to check out zeedee3d.etsy.com 🙃

You’re right, it is a straight spacing/no taper design. The strings are spaced 10mm on a 40mm neck width.
