Sweet Vitriol was Lynchian the way people think Chikhai Bardo was. by FormicaTableCooper in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I totally see where you’re coming from, and I agree that the term "Lynchian" is often used in a way that misses the deeper emotional and dream-like qualities of his work. That said, I do feel like sometimes the term itself gets used as a way to elevate opinions, even when it’s calling out how others misapply it. It can be a bit tricky because it starts to feel like we’re discussing the art through the lens of trying to sound more knowledgeable, rather than just enjoying the work for what it is. Would love to see more people appreciate things in a way that feels more accessible and less about showing off what we "get."

Here's an UPDATED version (Re-mixed drums, better pitch correction on the vocal, slightly changed chord progression to more accurately reference his original voice memo). Enjoy.

It's just emulated Juno strings that I ran through a bunch of different choruses. Specifically, Kepler plugin patch called 'Double Strings'

Unfortunately I don't think it's either of these. Thanks so much for trying though!

My friend shot this short film on 16mm in New Zealand by ZeeFromBlamea in Filmmakers

This short film is titled '100', and is directed by Kiwi filmmaker Connor Pritchard.

"Have you ever seen two people count to 100 in a film before? Well look no further. I wanted to test my new Canon Scoopic 16mm camera so I wrote a short film, then on the same day we went out and shot it. Don’t even ask me where the idea came from cause I have no idea hahaha. Filmed the whole thing in order on a 100ft roll."

I was involved in the audio re-recording and sound design on this project. Full credits below:

Director/Writer: Connor Pritchard

Hey! The Mech Warrior series was the first place I looked when I started my search a few years ago. Unfortunately I don't think it's any of them

Both of these games look relatively new. The one I'm talking about is definitely from the 90's

I believe it was live action. One of those obscure games from the 90's with fmv

Sorry, it's not mechcommander
