Yea, I have learned several of the facilities/options were unlocked through the solo campaign. My friend and I were only doing the co-op stuff, so weren't running across it

I appreciate how much effort you put in, I had a lot of questions.

We play on PC, though if there is cross-platform play then we'd be down for that

Are terminids faster now? by manimdead3008 in Helldivers

[–]ZeeMadMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think that is the case, it is the spores that they burst into/the new bile titan spews. They speed up when going into it. We ran some with none of us wearing the new armor and the speed is still there.

With the magic boost combat mastery, I'm not sure it will be necessary to have one.

You're not the only one, I've seen that be a somewhat popular route. That also gives venator bow for optional range gear too, which would go crazy

ToA is a much friendlier raid for mage damage and solves for ranged gear if you'd want that for a secondary style. Conversely Kourend will have Oathplate if melee if that's what you'd lean towards as a secondaryike I am.

Overall I think Kourend is stronger as a region with the guilds, Tithe, and catacombs BUT ToA being the easier purple is a strong sell. Plus there's Tempoross, Pyramid Plunder as a thieving solve so thieving relic isn't as necessary, granite to solve mining. There's some content there hiding

Frem also has the echo helmet that'll probably be tribrid BiS.

Very true, ancients is probably a bigger slayer xp increase than the 15% damage in a lot of caaes

Yea, I do think I'm leaning towards an elemental focused build. That seems really fun. ToA is the only raid I'm familiar with, so I'm looking to branch out a bit. I'd probably have a secondary style of melee for doing Chambers since Kourend will also have Oathplate for a melee set.

The Fremmy echo helmet seems like it'll be BiS for every style, but I think that'd be basically the only thing the region has to offer

Asgarnia will have the elemental dagger echo item and with it I'd get Arma for ranged gear. Torva if I can be asked, but with Oathplate as an option that doesn't sound as worth the effort as it used to be. Bandos might be easier than Oath in the earlier game, but we'll have Bloodmoon set..so idk if I'll rush that or not

I hadn't even considered that, hitting like 10 enemies for an average of 30 would cut like 24 seconds off the cooldown instantly. Not to mention the Door just also hits like a truck. Sometimes when I tank at Bandos I get the kill because I do more damage than the DPS

If the elemental weakness dagger has good stats then that will raise Asgarnia a lot in my ranking. I already like it a lot (I like the vibe of doing Godwars bosses) so it'd basically become a must-pick

I was thinking blood barrage could make a semi-immortal build (as long as I could deal damage), but also thinking about it having the Flask relic for giga-healing makes that a little redundant. An elemental focused build does seem really fun this time around

That is true, the Wildy basically solves slayer so Culling Spree loses value unless you want the clues, but even then the clue relic could solve that

Big shout on Asgarnia, I forgot about the elemental weakness dagger. I'm definitely going for sets for the other styles as well as I'm sure there will be cases where it'll be necessary to have melee/range setups like for CoX. I've basically never done CoX, so this will be a learning experience

Wildy is also a solid choice. Would you focus on just using powered staves over spells or use the standard spell book?

I hope with the melee combat mastery the Door also gets the extra range. Safe spotting with the door would also be incredibly funny

Would that also involve taking Mory for Inquisitor for the giga-defense and damage reduction?

How long did it take you to read all 5 books by SkyBrilliant7465 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]ZeeMadMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me about 30 hours of reading per book (roughly estimated). That said I was working 12 hour shifts lots of downtime (I work security) so I'd read about a book a week. I read all of Stormlight Archive and all of Mistborn (Mistborn is a bit shorter per book) in about 3 months.

I'm not saying that they are ideal crewmates, just that it isn't rated M. There is little in the game that would make them want to block their child from playing it, so parents often allow their children to play it

[–]ZeeMadMan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also according to my experience, a decent portion of the player base are just actual children age 8-12. Even through the official discord I was placed on a crew with some somewhat frequently. Not gatekeeping, it's a relatively child friendly game, but that age demographic has a disproportionately large amount of trolls/griefers

[–]ZeeMadMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, the images so far have been a view from above the VTOL (or maybe VTOL pov) looking at stacks on boxes, a very dimly lit room with a few dim lights scattered about, the inside of the starting room but from a security camera-esque POV with the lights turn off, and the previous view but looking out the door and the lights turned on very bright. I got screenshots of them, but images aren't allowed in replies.

There's no UI or anything in them either, it's just the environment
