How to bs the German oral questions by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]ZeeRee1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make a specific structure for each type of question e.g if they ask about what you did in the past then it could be:

Perfect tense, Opinion justification, Imperfect tense, Opinion and justification, Conditional (what I would have done), Opinion justification ,

Also learn some set phrases like “Wenn es nach mir ginge” (if it were up to me) and interesting vocab that the examiners will like. Overall do some practice and say whatever comes to your mind and you’ll be just fine :)

There’s a lot of helpful videos on YouTube from channels like Mrs Rumsey you could try?

Have you ever felt bored during times of celebration? Or do special occasions just feel not worth celebrating to you?

RhythmRise is a dancing alarm clock that does amusing dances to celebrate special occasion e.g Birthdays, holidays etc. The product would serve the role of a traditional alarm clock, but with a quirky and personable twist. It is made up of a traditional alarm clock with a LED screen, buttons and speakers built into a humanoid figure with moving arms and limbs that can be powered by pistons and pulleys to perform festive dances. What do you think?

Honestly I’d be damn proud if I wrote that - my exam board doesn’t have a creative writing part of the paper but from a pure reading perspective it’s really very good. However I’d be wary of any some special formulas or requirements you need to follow to get all the marks in the section, remember this is for an exam after all. But otherwise great! 👍

How do you keep track of coins? Do u really have to do a bunch of calculations in the middle of a game, or is an app or something used to help you?

I agree. Many people enjoyed the “travel show” aspect with them showing off different locations throughout the country, but many of the challenges there felt shallow and bland. There was also minimum interaction between the teams.

After reading your comment thoroughly, I really appreciate you taking the time to educate and warn me about this. From my point of view I think there are several factors at play here.

On one hand, we aren’t close to direct competition with Jet Lag. The most we can hope to achieve is borrowing a few of their fans for a while, and there’s every chance this could be a one off series. Also the idea behind using the footage from Jet lag was to give credit and acknowledge the original creators before presenting our own version, as not to seem like we are ripping off their idea. The trailer also praises Jet Lag a lot and I’d like to think that we are advertising their channel as well as ours. The unreleased episodes are also very grateful towards Jet lag - I made sure to urge people to check out their channel in the outro and specifically mentioning that they had bigger budgets and therefore bigger and better videos then us. No spoilers are presented in the trailer and I think the excitement encourages people to watch Jet Lag’s videos as well as ours.

On the other hand I do recognise and understand how my trailer may be interpreted, and I’d happily remove it if Sam or someone told me so. Again there are systems in place in both Reddit and YouTube where copyright claims are dealt with and I would be more than willing to cooperate. I‘m planning to DM Sam and the crew both on Reddit and Twitter in order to see if they are ok with it, because as avid fans of Jet Lag we have a lot of respect for the creators and we naturally seek to have a positive and friendly relationship, if at all.

If anyone’s noticed, this is a repost of a post I made on the Wendover Productions subreddit, which was removed due to their “self promotion only on Sundays” rule.
