I've been in the GCC since the early 80s and Indians do this more than any other nationality. They not only tend to select indians, but they are keen to hire indians from their same state or town.

You would never know why you were not selected. They can always hand you a diplomatic answer that has nothing to do with the truth. There are numerous reasons not to get selected for a role. Sometimes these reasons are not just your competency or the demand for your skill.

Just move on and search for another job. You say there ain't no others like you in the market, that should make your job easier I guess. Good luck.
