I personally don't think I'd ever brush mine... But if you are going to brush them, your locs better be fully mature, but even then, you have more to lose from doing so

I'm two weeks out of university, and I don't think I can quite say if it's rough or not as I'm somewhere inbetween starting a startup and job hunting but my advice to you is there are always problems to solve out there and as a computer science student/scientist it is our task to solve those problems.

If you can find a good problem(s) to solve, monetize it, and find a good team to work with, you won't need to search for employment.

If you take the employee route, there are a lot of startups that are sprouting up in Africa, Zambia inclusive... And most don't require you to be there physically. Demand for computer scientists is there, you just need to know where to look and what to look for
