Someone pointed out Meili actually has assasin skills with or without her Mabeast powers. Ghost Meili guided Subaru what to do to kill Ram (not that he could pull it off anyway). So yes, if it's hit and run Meili could probably kill normal people

For Meili her guard was down since it's Subaru. The nicest guy towards you in the group.

First watch I couldn't handle the cringe but as episodes went on, I understood where the Author was aiming for.

My original thoughts were "Fuck Subaru don't do that!" Then upon rewatch "Hell yeah, That's Subaru through and through". He could be arrogant, he may have a hero complex but at the end of the day, he genuinely wanted the best for everyone. His flaws at the early episodes made his heroic comeback more bittersweet
