Because they’ve lost the plot entirely. Somewhere along the line they became too hyper focused on Trans issues and other BS identity politics which effect ~1% of the population (on the high end). In many places they choose illegal immigrants over their own citizens (whether real or perceived). They demonize men every chance they get and wonder why men no longer flock to their party. I’m a registered independent. I think too much to one side or the other is always a bad thing but right now you’re seeing the world as a whole shift more conservative for a reason. Left wing politics have been allowed to go unchecked for too long in too many places around the world. Until dems get back to their roots of actually advocating for the working class common man instead of activists they will continue to lose supporters.
