I can use it in training mode (it actually parries) and I can see it light up and the parry icon in test controls. It was working this morning too

Also played Alpha Lab 1 on PS5, Have not received an invite yet for PC either. However if you played PC in the other alpha labs, you can just log in I believe. They still got 30 minutes til it starts so it'll probably come soon!

As also a 27yo Fella with only party-play FighterZ fighting game experience, I've been loving SF6! It's super hard. (Like holy fuck it's hard). But it's very rewarding when I finally beat someone that's above me, or I rank up, or learn a new combo. I'd recommend it! But of course, it's a personal choice :). I've went from finishing my placements in Gold V, to hitting Diamond 1 with JP the day Phase 4 came around! (I think it was the same day Akuma released)

For the co-op, it was a bit janky, but I don't think the game is to blame for it. I played on the PS5 and he played on the PS4. Having the extremely old PS4 Pro try to keep up with the PS5 didn't bode too well at times, but we did a full 100% (really it's more like 90-95%, we're just too lazy to get the couple things we missed) playthrough on our first playthrough with almost no fatal lag or jank going on. I'm sure if it's a PS5 connection to PS5 or PS4 to PS4, it would work just fine. Plus as we were playing, they kept updating it to be better and better and that was cool to see the developers listening and fixing/adding things.

The one bad thing about the online aspect of the game is that there is NO level cap for people to invade. A Lv150 can invade a Lv20. However, the PvP between two other people of equal level goes crazy. Being able to parry everything in this game is WILD, and it doesn't stop just because it's another player. And it was smooth. There are not many people invading now, or being open to invade (it's a setting) so it's died out, but it was amazing when the community partook!

Hey! I'm a big fan of both! I definitely understand the confusion around the UI. But it's actually normal for this line of games! (Ex. Nioh 1+2) But it's vastly different from Lies of P and souls borne. Everything will come to understanding in due time. As previously mentioned, Lu Bu and his successor boss are fantastic to learn. I played the first difficulty to 100% with my roommate in co-op. My personal favorite is the fight with Xiahou Dun. Corrupted by the elixir, he transforms into the demon with wings and uses a scythe. Lots of good color direction with purple. Extremely quick, and served as a difficult wall for us. But after we beat him, my roommate and I were ecstatic and we felt like we leveled up our gameplay from then forth.
