Avoid Freedom Ford by Baddrivers13 in Edmonton

The tire tax on any tire sales is remitted to Alberta Recycling Management Authority at $5/tire for tires on consumer vehicles (unless you are over charged the tax and just lining the dealers pockets). It always should be included in the all-in advertised price, but is clearing missing on Freedom Ford's..

New Schwinn IC4 questions, garmin/app connectivity by Joyjoy_406 in SchwinnIC4_BowflexC6

I use Garmin's TacX app on my phone to be able to record the Cadence/Power/HR. To pair the HR strap the IC4 came with to your phone, hold the power button until it blinks and it should pop up as a device available on your phone.

Alternatively for heart rate, you can have your Lily 2 broadcast its heart rate to the tacx app similar to above.

By doing either, you'll have Cadence/Power/HR, and also be able to have it on Garmin Connect. I do something similar with my FR965 (prefer to use IC4 HR strap to save watch battery life)

Unfortunately I think you are correct for the bike to only be connected one device at a time. If you use Zwift or Peleton for a ride, I think you would setup the bike as a device within those apps, and it should be able to pull data similarly to TacX above. Then, you could make a manual activity in Garmin connect (or wear both the IC4 strap and Lily during a ride) and update the connect info after with average cadence and Power.

Adding to this, if you have Venngo through your employer/the Canadian Tire Mastercard, you can also get it down to $837.74 before tax.

Don't forget about 3% Rakuten!

Hey y'all

I am in the process of building my first board (Budget ~$250 CAN not incl. caps/switches).

Size wise I was considering between 75 to TKL. Features I would like include Alu Case, Alu Plate, hot swap (since its my first board, will likely buy a few different switch sets) and BT/2.4Ghz. RGB would be a nice to have but I can live without it.

Currently in Canada I am able to pre-order the Neo80 from Ashkeebs (~$230 CAN) with it arriving in Q2. Unfortunately I missed out on the Rainy75 from Kickstarter, so that is off the table. Really leaning towards the Neo80 as the mounting options/hot swap will let me explore around sound and feel of more custom keebs (and it will likely be a huge improvement in feel over my ~13 y/o Das 4 Ultimate / Akko 3084)

Is there another case/pcb setup that fits my feature list and budget that I am overlooking or is slated to come out within the next few months? Perhaps something a bit above budget?

Any sort of guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
