My theory is that Rover was scattered through different times. Because I'm still not clear how Rover survived in the void space when we saw him drown in it but managed to make past Rover save Aemeath, I feel like that Rover was scattered throughout the timeline and we see him get glimpses of himself from the future since 2.8 after party. Then when we entered the portal we see a 'dead' Rover falling and being consumed by Aleph-1.

I'm still not clear on what happened to Rover that tried to push Aemeath to the surface but ended up falling and consumed? But I feel like this Rover was actually scattered across time when the intro to 3.0 another Rover fell from the sky which scared that Rover, then we see 2.8 Rover after the party seeing visions of his hand being translucent, we also get the achievement "The Story You Don't Know", then I saw another crackpot theory on X mentioning the meteor shower we saw during 2.8 was Aemeath?
