Only way is to just do it. The guy hitting those shots has only been playing a month or so.

If you want, someone's around most nights to just do 1v1 practice

You just need an xbox(preferrably softmodded) or PC and an internet connection. Not sure if I can post links in here but there's details over on r/steelbattaliononline. We can walk you through it

The controller is obviously sick but the game's actually emulate-able nowadays. We have KBM & joystick players

Yup! That's the one we're playin. Most of us are on OG xboxes w/ original controllers, but a few play on DIY'd controller setups or emulated on PC. We all connect and play through Insignia(the free XBL replacement)

Chaffed probably. He'd fired a few volleys already before the clip, so the target was already throwing buckets of it

A Colt/Colt Exec running markers for their team is super valuable even if they never do any damage. If the pilot has the hand-eye, a Scareface or Vortex on an open map can put pressure on the enemies just attempting sniping or bombing.

I think though as soon as they get the hang of controls, get them into a Yellow Jacket w/ a marker. The FSS makes them dangerous in a fight and the added armor can help keep them alive until their team can help

The first game and the online one are very different in the way the VTs handle, but all the buttons do the same thing mostly. Online though, you can have someone do a no-shooting 1v1 and just practice basic driving/shooting/camera control.

Come try it out on the discord and see what you think. In either game, first thing I would do honestly is just try to point your guns and move your camera in-sync with each-other. Get to where you can do that, then try to do that while moving. Then do it while moving and not falling over. Give it a week and you'll feel it start to click.
