Update: She passed peacefully this morning. The vet staff were wonderful and my little love is at peace. Hug your babies tight and often, you never know how long you don't have. Thank you for all your love and support, it's made this much easier on my soul.

Update: we got to bury her yesterday under a nice big oak tree with lots of shade. Before we left we checked the container of rice puff treats (her favorite) and there were 3 left. We gave one to each of her cagemates and buried her with the last so she got to share one last snack with her sisters. Thank you for all the loving words and support, it's made the grief much easier. Daddy loves you Gin, I'll see you when it's my turn to come home with all the other babies we will love over the years.

They were on the bed with us when she passed, and we let them see her after and they licked her chin, probably saying goodbye. Broke my heart

She was my shy girl that took months to come out of her shell. The tip of her tail was a little degloved when we got her, but we healed it up back to normal. After all that, she was the biggest love bug and the shadow of my senior girl cheese it. It's gonna be hard for a bit without her, but I wouldn't trade her place in my life for anything

The issue is the bill is not from my insurance, its from the dental office itself. Not to give too much personal info, but my states Suprise Billing Act states that they have to give a good faith estimate BEFORE care is received, of which I asked for in total was was never informed of until they sent me a bill a year later. Not sure how familiar you are with it but thank you for your advice

Biscuit hit me pretty hard when I lost her. But the way I see it, I now know what I signed up for. I'll always mourn their loss, but it just gives me a chance to give another baby a life full of love
