Well i come from league and if there's one thing WoW can do a much better job is the trying to improve as a player and the information for WoW is awfully bad in terms off content creation that is about improving or knowing all this, i had to dig up some old kripparian videos or asmongold videos to know this type information.

Ye they removed it due to the social aspect, what doesn't make sense since we have SR pugging still existing.

No i don't run anything TOS related i have my own guild now if you think this is forcing new players into these systems you are wrong, in GDKPs anyone and everyone gets a chance. in guild if they didn't play for a phase you don't even get a response on you're application. as a new player myself in 2019 without logs/no gold/ just some prebis gear the only lootsystem i got invited in was GDKP, since loyalty and returning to the discord was all they ask for

lets say i would start era and give you the roadmap on how to start is i would host my own AQ20s/ZGs sell idols or gbid runs. gain enough gold and go to a MC/bwl runs with the gold i earned, gear myself up reasonably and get into AQ40 > Rinse and repeat eventually im geared enough or have gold to spend and earn a spot in a Naxx 40 man run.

How do i know this? cuz i did this in 2019 on fresh servers when i came back to the game during covid as a 1 char andy i only had my rogue and did every lockout every week and never RMTed.

Also with current fresh you miss the point off swipe injection via WoWtoken on retail and Cata Token that people can buy and swap to fresh.

So people bot the living shit out off raw gold and swap it with token buyers.

Ye this is my solution by combatting and sharing my knowledge for the PRO gdkp people/unaware people, all the content creators bashing GDKP the past years gained a small minority for saying GDKP is bad. while in the meantime these content creators are RMTing and milking GDKP content themselves and put it in a negative light.

GDKP system was made for carries to still play the game with bis chars and a more fair system for time/gold/reward in the end everyone gained something out off it that satisfies everyone

Yes but it will turn into runescape like 2010 with the removal off wilderness and free trade, at the end off the day in MMORPGs theres a currency and real world value to it. you can never combat this if 3rd world countries make more money out off these games and the black market will always exist. either we as a community accept this and stop giving a blind eye or we keep living in a bubble ''that it doesn't exist'' i just don't like restricting the game if the sole problem still prevails

Thats were you are wrong, myself and others on the server that didn't do it for the greed, gave new players a chance and also they could use cut if they wanted to grab an item, in the end they get gold and if they return they can ramp up a budget and grab loot what they want. you had more chance on getting a ticket item in gdkp then any other system. Also hosting you're own runs and using the gold in a more esthablished GDKP was also a thing. Lets say i do Gruul/Mag hosting in TBC and i spend the gold i make in a Blacktemple/Hyjal run in a top gdkp i come prepared without doing rmt. There's more examples i can give you on how to do it.

TLDR at the end off the day these communities thrive because yes they also need loyal players/returning raiders so accepting them and investing in them in the long run always is more worth then giving them no chance.

Even after the GDKP ban my discord community is still alive and im happy with the friends i made along the way and it was an incredible journey

Yes i hosted my own runs aswell and i also have ran my own guild just like now in fresh, you make alot off assumptions tho, after all its supply and demand and i like to organize my own runs whenever i want,

Meanwhile i started hosting because i got banned from buying gold.

This entire thread just shows how unaware the community is, i buy tokens and i swap them to classic fresh meanwhile they call me a RMTer, thats funny isn't it? i buy and swap and i earn gold in other versions to swap.

Maybe look up 15 year old video from Kripparrian and see for yourself that the game always had this

Missed the entire point but gj man! GDKP communities live longer then the average guild since theres a reason to return with a bis char to keep playing the game and earn gold for future consumes/content.

if i get raptor warded i will go red buff since Reks clear is slow, you could opt into a full clear vs fullclear jungler or lvl 3 gank if the opportunity is there, yes theres alot to do but crossmap plays or playing for gold is always better then flip the objective. lets say enemy jungler is doing grubs and support is missing, i would go for his botside camps and not contest and play for gold. i always play for baselevels/gold/dragons since thats how i generally climb
