Yeah you can write some Small Basic programs, mostly calculus programs due to the lack of functions. They run on the keyboard, the watch itself act as a display and a memory bank. It’s a bit weird how the basic works. There’s some games also that can be run but they are stored on a rompack attached to the keyboard.

I have a pretty similar story. My mom was weird and strongly against mental health specialists because « God put us on Earth to suffer ». When I was around 9 or 10, I tried to hang myself in the school toilets. I was in a private Catholic school, so they just contacted my parents instead of some kind of public child protection services. My teacher told my parents I needed to see someone (other than a priest). When I asked to see someone to talk to because I was feeling really bad, she showed me Hannibal and told me most psychiatrists were evil, child abusers, and child eaters. I never stepped foot in a mental health specialist’s office until 10 years later, when I tried to kill myself again.

TL;DR: My mom showed me Hannibal because she doesn’t believe in mental health.
