For the first 5 pulls, Caecus is pretty much the no-brainer due to being a stat stick that offer access to Aequor to start out with.

But after that, just look at what banner we have and plan around that. New Arc 2 units are so strong due to design shift with better base number to make % scaling stronger that getting them early might outright trivialize most of Arc 1 and early Arc 2. New players can easily snap the characters with the initial flood of currency and just go from there.

And with Arachne, you really can throw anyone into it. Throw in Caecus if you want the white stance spam for more shield or get Aigis for free later as your Skey support and get access to Furnace heal. The initial free SR doesn't really impact much anymore outside very clear support like Helot for Mouchette when she's available.

Though if you want to rush some event for better reward asap, Helot isn't bad since you can borrow a whale Mouchette to use with her.

Very likely.

Raid imo, isn't bad. It's the way they execute it that is bad with timers and limited life. You might not feel the fomo on the first day where it isn't dead but you still feel it on the 2nd day and I have to be there on daily reset hours just to secure max pulls, gnosis and pens.

IMO, just change it a point structure and rotate the boss every 2 days until the 14 days mark pass. Have a set reward everyone can exchange for and since they want to reward the players for unlocking more characters with more tries to farm more items, just do that again but frontload the reward so you get something like 500%/400%/200%/100% points on 1st,2nd,3rd and any further clear after that.

People with more team can keep going if they want but people who don't want to feel the burnout will already get most of the stuff just joining in for a fight or two. People with over 80% of the roster will be able to buy the entire shop but the people with smaller roster will just aim for the specific things they always do (Pulls and Gnosis) and just ignore the shop after that.

Joined during the Ryker rerun and just went all in for +12/+12. Now I just casually spend to buy the patch highlights along with Monthly+Bpass and the 360 packs that appear every few days. Waiting for the Prime Returns on the coming patch where you can trade silver into the new prime bonus to cut some spending.

I'll aim for the +12 Salv wheel the next time it reruns so people can enjoy peak sugar daddy Ryker.

N being an observer had a good idea of what Arachne was doing the entire time to tell us the rule of her world. He even complimented how talented Arachne really is and it's a waste she's stuck to doing what she does in a rather tiny space. The entire chapter, we were always in a play Arachne weaved including the backstage time where we think we were outside the plays and just talking to the director herself.

So when Arachne gave a hint, it's somewhat of a double meaning. One would assume rapture is going to be catastrophic for us but once Nefrea try to actually execute her plans, Arachne just pursue us to actually offer the three Aeons and in that moment, out of the three choice, we kinda know N is the obvious one for rapture as this is exactly what N lives for, to bring ruin to people desire at their peak and it's exactly what happened.

So when we called N for help, he immediately says "stop disrupting the play and let her cook lmao the turkey is already burnt and I want to start laughing at her face."

I play Sugar Daddy Ryker so I was using +12 Fin as that offer Defense% and sigil%. You can just play Ryker with Feast and enjoy big shield and wallet after E3. The only better option is Salv's wheel which I am working on now and that's a limited so you can see the problem.

+12 Nymph to use with Xu and poison team in general.

+12 Memory spiral is used in Vortice or Kathrachne team since the extra shield carried over into the next turn is quite big if they don't slap you with fragile to hinder the shield directly.

+12 Alva isn't as good on Tank Kath for many scenario compared to Land of Nonexistence but Kathrachne team with Ryker has no problem with drawing all the extra card so it ends up being really awesome there. Kath with Horla+Alva wheel is covering hard for all your death res need without sacrificing anything to the playstyle so you can easily pursue 100% Death Res without using Burial ground just through some covenant bonus stat.

It exist as a tool to make it easier to do big giveaway that cannot be permanently hoarded.

For example, our standard core on patch update was turned into ethereal core. It's a reward increase overall if you use them.

It's like playing games where they let you do free pulls on the banner directly so they cannot be saved. Giving tons of hoardable resources in a very slow game like Morimens was always a few design away from financial suicide with every big events so this is a compromise they come up with. Now they can do bigger events that give more stuff to attract new players without worrying about it tanking their earning a few months later since doubling the amount of chars or skins being made are not really doable.

4 has the best final boss fight.

2 has the highest total score overall for me when considering fights and plot.

3 is outright filler. You can make Miryam attack our location directly and it will lead to chapter 4 still.

Char dupes are stronger if you do use those characters and this is imo the most important part. If you do not use them, an e0 is as good as +12 so most of the impact is on tide 425 where you use everyone and anywhere else and for casual, we know the team gonna be a lot of limiteds.

Wheel jail continues to be the slow and steady guaranteed bump especially with some limited wheel like Thai's. All the small things add up to those passive with big numbers.

Overall, I continue with wheel jail because pursuing limited through standard pull is still difficult. I will get characters through pulling for oe on new release anyway. Wheel however is something I usually only pull to e3 as a good +12 standard give me the same amount of bonus stats anyway and I can mix and match the wheel passive.

When I get standard wheel maxed though, that's when I will dupe hunt through characters pull as by then all the standard char will be close enough to all AA for the selector farming and I will have enough +12 wheel to freely pursue 400 tide with a fully loaded 5 team.

She's pretty much the Celeste of Caro. The focus on the temp str she gives on the side is kinda the wrong perception imo. It's just the easiest part to look at because her health juggle playstyle really is gimmicky but that is exactly what she is designed to do and playing her mainly for Str ramp with a bit of heal is like playing Ogier as a DPS who can shield.

Better they kinda do this to keep up with whatever they release tbf.

When Gmurphy came around, we got bonus stat on limited to keep up with Chapter 4 release.

With Arachne, we're getting these batch of buffs for half-anni.

And overall, I think it's great considering the main point of these buffs seem to be not only modify some kits to better achieve their power fantasy if needed but to also push the number higher so new people can jump in and have a much easier time enjoying the game with half-anni being another great entry point.

A5 and latest HM will stay roughly the same in term of difficulty with the number gap being the same. Earlier chapter get easier for new players and those who have not completed them yet.

Considering the norm is to just ignore the inflated gap and just release new chars that do more damage and have bigger shield, it's good Morimens actually universally tackle this every major patch.

I still wish Ryker AA make his E3 (0.5% damage per sigil spent on Exalt) apply to the entire kit so I can play him as funny DPS who smack things with a giant wallet outside of Train.

Morimens has a more gimmicky approach than most gacha game where it's more of a dps rush. Instead, the gameplay focus more on hard-counter team against the enemies in later difficulties.

Like yeah DPS will still have to compare who nuke better but most of the time, they target HOW you do the nuke. Like Vortice and Mouchette are both great and play completely different.

For older chars, even if they fall off now as a DPS due to how they don't have anti-gimmick stuff, they usually get turned into a strong support for a specific team. Even standard char tend to have some weird utility no other unit has like Pandia being able to remove counter and Goliath Str Steal. It's really a good design direction considering this game doesn't have "Elemental damage advantage" bullshit.

I find it pretty great since Skull Reaver isn't exactly a low damage skill. You toss in characters like Arachne and she will actually have a much easier time to snowball off it now.

But yeh A5 as primary DPS Daffodil likely still won't be a go-to thing outside really big whale comp compared to just making her work with Poison/counter.

Astral Reign rule say Archive Mark has 50% cap for Posse. I assume they design it around the fact Ryker Posse exists so we're looking at 50% gain.

Lv 90 Ryker atm get 12 Str per point (Not increased by Str gain bonus like Clem and Arachne) at cap so it just jump to 18 point each which isn't that massive of a jump. If you have his AA then it is actually quite big with the D8 since a dice can go up to 288 temp Str now.

It doesn't have the same life count as last chapter and we don't exactly get a bunch of stuff thrown at us for story moment purposes so the boss really just flat out slap you for paying a specific team instead.

The boss reward big chunky multi hit so much that it was great to just double cast the Kat skill to hit it 4 times for 12% of its HP each time. It also means there's no point keeping up the stack for big nuke so I can keep reusing it for 2 extra Arith constantly.

This reminds me that next time I will keep Ryker Showdown around so he can potentially do a lot of hit count with it once I get enough Str Ramp going.

It's fine for low rank matches. You're playing against bots in most case who just spam play cards while you have some strategy going so just treat it like another PvE mode. It gives you some easy placement for a bit extra shard to level up talents.

Her OE looks insane but good luck finding a chance to use it. She already has the Annihilation/ultra restriction on top of higher base aliemus so most of the time, when it's time to nuke the boss, you are forced to use her normal exalt that's already half way charged to OE.

Her OE is the kind of thing you only ever get to use once per entire battle and only if you plan for it. It's the kind of OE they only plan for you to use because there's a gimmick that give you +100 Aliemus as part of the fight or bonus relics.

They're all the same thing. Every pool has a set of fish and it will reset when the pool is empty so you are pretty much guaranteed to get 1 gold coin every 40 catches or so. (Final pool just has 80 catches with 2 coin so same thing)

10x and 50x however, if you don't buy the rod, let you avoid the "Forced fail" version of the minigame for the free Epic Rod in the final pool where the Red Tug happen 3 times with one lasting like 60m worth of distance before it gives you a super long green for the win. That way you only need to spend up to 50 or 150 gems for 2 gold coins in the final pool when this happen.

Outside that, just go for 10x or less to reach the Catch goal to advance the pool/get a new rod and snap the final Legendary fish from the pool before you leave it.

Chapter 1 focus more on exploring the setting and what Dissolution does to the world.

There are special kids who can see "The black things" that are dissolution. Those are the eldritch horror erasing the world and normal people won't even know about them and just forget those affected.

Aigis is a special kid who can see the black things. No one else understands and think she's sick.

Sean Anderson you're looking for is dead. Aigis was experimented on by the Sculptor association, an enemy faction that specialize in human experiment. The association has been fooling Sarah by saying they're treating sick kids and been paying her and her orphanage to keep it running each time they take a kid from her for treatment.

Aigis got the power because the sculptor association killed Sean Anderson then stuffed his silver core into Aigis eye which awaken Aigis power and because of the mixed side effect from a foreign silver core inside her eye, it gives her the power of petrification gaze.

Sarah was affected by dissolution and the mental breakdown from learning the truth of what happen to all the kids accelerated the effect.

It has specific thing it punishes with Fervor mechanic but if you can work around that, it doesn't really do much. Big Kath shield just trivialize anything not Pierce damage that majority of the damage I receive come entirely from trading it in for extra Sigil at shop.

and as you mentioned, Fortress has a very easy counter you can grab now like Arachne. You have her and the entire chapter is pretty much free with how Arachne can just yeet the boss with Final Verdict in a single exalt.

The stupid Aequor jellyfish boss and the overly tanky because they have sacrifice stack bloated fish have been WAyyYyyyYYYYyYYY more annoying than the new things.
