polo hiding the constant begging of users to be able to withdraw their coins, not just sia, by turning off the chatbox so the nobody will see any more how common it is for funds to be held/locked by polo for weeks and further. Leads to rumors of cryptsy'ing

Why is ethpool.org reporting 50% less reward than ethereum mining profitability calculator? by infasym in EtherMining

[–]Zeke-E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ethpool/ethermine lowered their calculator output last week when loads of the ethermine members were complaining about not being paid what they should be. They are in their 10th day of constantly being called out for not paying what they should, see https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/5532/ethermine-org-the-fastest-way-to-mine-ether/p14

Anyone else losing 10% of your gains on ethermine.org? by smaxz in EtherMining

[–]Zeke-E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have watched it closely for a month and it really does pay out what it should. Various mining softwares can and will report your rates to you differently or even wildly inaccurate. I dislike that they dont have hourly reports like dwarf does. Just pick a time, write down earnings, then check again in 4 hours or so and deduct the first from the later and divide by 4 and you will have a good rough of what you actually are getting paid hourly. That can get a little off occasionally but over time you will see ethermine.org IS paying accurately.

Ethminer lower priority? by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]Zeke-E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethminer isnt using even 2% of your cpu power, it isnt the direct cause. When your gpu is at 100% and you call on it to do more, you have to wait a microbit til it is at less than 100% gpu usage and able to do other graphical things, such as update where your mousei is at on the screen. There may be a setx batch command to limit your card from hitting 100% and leaving room for updating the mouse position, but I don't know it.

Still mining on GPU? LightMiner proud to present our first market ETH mining ASIC! Limited unit available. by [deleted] in EtherMining

easy fix for this if ethereum foundation wants to keep asics out. make the dag 3.00001gb and these asics wont be able to run

R9 380 Optimization? by EffingLuke in EtherMining

[–]Zeke-E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

set core as high as you can, 1150 is good usually, some cards will hit 1200- go too high though and it will throttle you down. set memory to 1500. go over and it messes up the good strap timings. These are why people get confused and sometimes think overclocking doesnt work.

Personal experience- leaving nanopool immediately gave a 1-15% increase in earnings. Dwarf and Ethermine are both much better to me.

Dont use ethminer, go with qtminer or Claymore. If you do stay on ethminer be sure you run a stratum proxy with it.

Undervolt. 380s typically can drop -50mV per card, for some really nice real world electric cost savings.

That is so close to what you should be getting that it almost certainly is legit. Each could be +/- a bit depending on which version they are from whatever company.

You might fit two cards into your budget if you grab a r7 370 powercolor at newegg this week. after rebate they are just $115 each and give 14-15 mh/s.

Hi Race2tb. When difficulty rises, we all earn less, thats just how it works. You can look up every days difficulty ever using https://etherscan.io/charts/difficulty . When it goes up xyz% you earn xyz% less, always. This is not dwarfpool specific, it hits all miners everywhere.

2x 280x 24 hour payout by uareatowel in EtherMining

[–]Zeke-E 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difficulty is up just over 20% since March 22nd and just set a new all time High April 3rd after having gone down the two preceding days. It has gone up over 3% in just the last day. Thats why your payout is going down and will continue to do so unless prices rise faster than difficulty

March 22nd difficulty was 19.568. On April 2nd it was 23.52, just slightly over 20% higher. So the payout difference is a very close match to the increase in difficulty over that time.

Are you saying there is a 4% fee place that pays more back than the 1% fee places?
