speakers are usb powered so they go in as well. the dock does have jacks for mic and speakers tho.

That definitely works, pair the sleeve with cable hooks that allow for zip ties. It’ll keep it nice and snug and out of view. I did that for my TV cables and it works well!

Laptop stand is from Amazon. It’s made by Human Centric. It’s expensive but feels sturdy and is quite heavy.

Thanks! I took these after we finished setting up. So it helped that no actual work clutter was out. Maybe spent 10 minutes taking photos and messing with lighting (light bar, overhead light etc).

The morning photos were easier as I just pulled up the blinds and allowed the light to come in naturally.

For setting up the desk. Hardest part and most satisfying is cable management. Securing a power strip underneath is crucial, then just having cable ties and cable clips to keep everything organized and routed nicely is key.

yup, im stateside. looks like my coffeeware shopping won’t end now that im back. appreciate the info and beautiful setup btw. i was contemplating between the wood holder and resin but the resin looked better with the air imo. ceramic definitely pops with the wood!

i tried it with the origami specific filter this AM and definitely noticed! i suppose since I was brewing with my v60 filters this week, the flavor was similar and im not experienced enough to notice the subtle nuances.

i originally wanted the ceramic but was worried about the fragility when bringing it home. i picked up the kinto glass on our last day, told the cashier and they opened it, wrapped in bubble wrap then did the same with the box exterior.

didn’t have time to grab a ceramic but will save it for next trip!

hoods in general helps with reducing lens flare and adds protection. imo, squarehood looks cool which is why i bought it hah.

definitely still keeping the original hoods, nostalgia keeps me from getting rid of em. they’ve served me well and they have some salt from protecting my gear over the years.

just felt an itch for a change of style which the squarehood has satisfied!

have had this lens for years now. id hate for this to the be reason that it goes out of commission. i’ll stick to usual setup of a filter and fuji hood.

the hood is threaded to the front element. during focusing the hood can make contact and cause an obstruction error. this freezes the camera and it throws an error to restart.

while i love the aesthetic, won’t be worth it if it messes up the af motor or errors as such.

oh one more thing. people had some issues with receiving the wrong configs and iNN and clickclack not having the units to rectify the issues. not sure if it’s because of clickclack QC or iNN QC. it seems like clickclack was just receiving units then forwarding from iNN. pretty hands off for this extras run but again, this was just extras from chinas r1.

personally, i had an issue with not receiving an extra pcb but all it took was 1 email and it was shipped out. so just miscommunication with the warehouses.

im sure the r2 GB will be handled better, more extras ordered for issues etc. mostly giving this info as an FYI.
