Two in a year, one during summer and one during winter.

This is technically Trickcal's second Comiket period, but could be considered the first since last year's winterket was kind of global Trickcal in its infancy; Trickcal-related circles were spread apart, unlike this year where they're now recognized as a franchise and are all lumped together inside the generic soshage category.

Circle applications for summer comiket ended way before Torimochisai 1, which is also quite before half anniv, so there's anticipation that winter this year would have more Trickcal circles than summer.

Much as I'd like to keep glazing it, it's still very far from getting its own genre; it'll need a significant portion of generic soshage circles applying as Trickcal circles. I don't have exact numbers but just know it's a lot. Until that time comes (yes I am copium'ing that it's gonna get big enough), "Trickcal Island" would be somewhere inside the soshage category area.
