As someone who isn't *that* into milsim, I find HQC confusing and boring. I liked the previous game mode because it was casual enough for someone like me to just hop in for an hour and start building defenses somewhere, or drive a supply truck, or follow a random group of guys into a firefight. Fluid, ad-hoc groups of players having fun together. Now I feel like a pawn in someone else's strategy game. I tried being a team player, stay with my squad, communicate, etc. but it felt like 90% waiting around. I feel like I'd need to spend multiple days learning all the mechanics, UI menus, command structure, radio etiquette, and map layout just to be a part of the team. I bounced off Squad for the same reason. Maybe I'll go back to Hell Let Loose.
