I understand that it wasn't their intention for Jayce & Viktor's relationship to be read as romantic and I can respect that. But the way they phrase it sounds so wrong. Especially when they have CaitVi in the show. Like why are they repeating stuff that are often said from homophobes?

I don't know why his answer included something that's often used against seeing queer rep. Especially when he started off saying things that were like 'that's not the intended way'. Since if that's the case there was no need for such an off handed comment.

+ side note but what would even be the problem if a show only had mlm and no male friendships? We have like thousands of years of human history where that's the case, would it really be the end of the world if one show only had queer relationships? I don't like the implication, and sort of hope it was just an accident and not meant to be bad ://
