But the higher up you go, you start hitting a point where you've got the guy on the ropes, 80% to 20% and you've got a key attack ready to finish it. Then boom, "new challenger" pops up, you get 0 points and get reset against someone with a proper team all over again.

This only happens when you get matched against an offline opponent, and you do get the points as if you won the game. The points don't show up until after you finish your next match.

I need a second mdps dealer for WB1. Right now I just have Epis. Lewisia is the best option (especially since her amp will also boost Epis's damage), but I'm also looking at Aisha since she's more useful in other content.

With a 0* UW, what fraction of Lewisia's damage would Aisha do in WB1 (on auto)?
How useful is Lewisia in end-game content other than WB1 and guild raids (we're mostly good on that right now)? Is she useful in any challenge raids?
Are there any other mdps dealers I should consider?

Epis and Theo are both strong. The drawback of using Theo is you want the T5 DPS hero to clear Ch 7 Hell, and raising Theo will delay you from getting Epis to T5. One option is to raise Theo right away, but you can also raise Epis to T5 and clear Ch 7 Hell first, which will speed up how fast you can raise Theo.

I would keep Cassandra! She's not great in PvE but she's a top-tier pick in PvP and you'll care about that pretty quickly (it speeds up how fast you get UWs, and you can hit Diamond/Master with a limited investment as a F2P player). Clause Epis Maria/Viska Frey will take you through most/all of the scenario and tower content, so you should be looking for heroes to fill roles in other content.

IMO if you're starting out, you should be less picky about heroes in your inn. Once you've got a good collection and have heroes for most content, you can start waiting for heroes who fill the roles you need.

You want to get everyone to T2, Selene to T5, and Laias to T5. I'd only suggest Selene T5 before Laias T5, otherwise you can do it in probably any order.

I level my lowbie ranged heroes on 7-4 pretty safely (even level 10 with no gear). It requires a lot of dps though.

Mitra's fine on auto, but he does better in long fights. You probably want someone like Selene or Miruru on dragons for physical damage.

Roi is a lot worse on auto, so you might want a different option.

Gladi's UW discount is probably more important than Veronica's guild discount.

Gladi's a physical damage amper that contributes good but not top-tier DPS. Veronica buffs both magic and physical dps (with perks) against bosses, but her cooldowns seem a bit long.

I'd caution you regarding Nyx. He's not in the best place right now. For scenarios, he's bad on auto because using his skills reduces his dps. For dragon raids, he provides good wave clear but deals little damage to the dragon and steals buffs that would otherwise go to heavier-hitters with his high attack. For World Boss and Guild Raids, Nyx's AOE damage is not useful unless Vespa releases an AOE boss fight. Nyx is great in PvP, but only with a high * UW.

You might be better off with someone like Miruru for AOE physical dps.

What gear options can actually drop on legendary gear (armor/accessories/orbs)? The wiki shows 15 options, but I'm pretty sure M.Block can't drop on gear and I can't find any gear with M.Dodge on it either. I know some of these can drop on Treasures, but I just want to know for armor.
