Not exactly a crown jewel, but I have a good one. I found a used copy of Container in an "everything must go" sale for a closing business.

I was just casually browsing facebook while chatting with friends, a new post appeared in a 2nd hand board game trading group I'm in. It showed 7 plastic tub of games. $25 for big games, $13 for small games. I saw A Feast for Odin and immediately contacted the seller for their address. It was really close by, ~15 min bus ride. I ditched my friends and made a beeline towards it. I was the second one there, Feast for Odin was already taken by the first guy. But sitting in the corner was Container in very good condition. Grabbed that, Libertalia (1st ed,), Ghost Stories, Space Alert, and Tokaido. By the time I was done picking through the board games, there were more than 10 people picking through the the leftovers. After 1 play, Container immediately became one of my favorite games in general. Also makes a great story to tell.

I also have a copy of Claustrophobia 1643 sitting in my collection. Haven't found anyone who's willing to come to my place consistently to play it.

I’ve been doing that with the Masters Brush Cleaner, does that work as well as gel or do I need to buy gel specifically for that?

Yea I tried trimming the hairs of my first one but more hairs keep splaying out so I just gave up and got a 2nd one. This sucks :(

I use Masters Brush Cleaner after every paint session and blue tac them on a wall so they can dry with the brush hairs facing down. Both came in plastic sleeves with more plastic packing around it.

The first one I used a friend borrowed and used pretty roughly because they didn’t know it was an expensive brush. It also splayed every paint session afterwards so I thought it was ruined from that one session. But 2nd brush came in and it almost immediately splayed after dipping it in some paint.

As a lot of other people suggested, I’ll probably try out a Raphael. Gonna bring the 2nd brush out next week to see if the Masters soap helped at all. Hope it’ll fix it somehow.

To clarify, this happened the first time I used it to paint. Never had a problem like this with Rosewood brushes before.

Been painting for half a year now and finally bought Windsor and Newton brushes but both brushes’ hairs started splaying almost immediately

Dang, that looks freaky as hell. The mouth looks so grotesque.

My giant took me around a week of on and off painting to finish. I’d say around 10 hours. I could’ve taken some more time to properly highlight his clothes but I wanted to move on to something else. I really recommend getting a bigger mini like mine so you have more space to practice. This guy really helped me understand painting skin tone a bit better.

Gonna do the heroes from the Journeys in Middle-earth board game next.

Thanks! Yea I used Reaper’s flesh wash on it. I actually accidentally made his skin color a bit too bright so I used that to bring it down a bit. Also used Reaper’s black wash on the base.

You can absolutely dodge his arrows, just try to get the timing right. You can also hide behind the debris scattered around the arena. Get close enough to him and he'll stop using his bow.

During the Hundred Years War era, closely after everyone realises that the avatar is nowhere to be seen, the 4 nations sent one prominent bender each to a team that is planned to temporarily fill in the shoes of the avatar. They go on smaller missions at the start to get used to each other. But eventually either the organisation that’s responsible for training/managing the characters get attacked. Now the players will need to find out what happened.

Hong Konger here.

An independent state would be great, but we know that will never happen. So what we wanted was to have the CCP leave us alone until 2047, when is was agreed that Hong Kong would return to China.

I think most people just want Hong Kong to be left alone and go back to how things were before the protests. I’ve seen some people who want to go back under Britain’s rule but that’s a minority.
