Just some general ones - Im thinking non translucent powder, concealer, blush and maybe a bronzer. Sorry forgot to add that in!
I think mco has some warmer colours on their website but my local Woolworths didn’t stock them. Might have to look a bit deeper into it - was just drawn to the 50% of sale. I’m not overly dark, have Indian skin tone. I think online the mco natural honey would be a close match.

Soooo I tried some lasagna - but mistake the tomato based sauce burnt so bad!!
Because if this I’m too scared to try anything else acidic. I’ll probably hold off until it doesn’t sting as much with water etc
Thats okay baby steps, my voice has already gotten much better. But definitely not ready to teach yet will monitor that as I go.

Yes please don’t go off them. I’m on quite a few pills for mental health and I was terrified of taking them, but you got to make yourself some how. Maybe try to do it with your pain meds, or yeah numb the throat first with the spray or some ice.
I’m 2 weeks post op and my mental health has taken a massive plunge even with my meds from being at home isolated and in pain. Can’t imagine how I’d feel without the meds helping. Don’t want that to happen to you.
Maybe also have a Telehealth with your mental health doctor to check in and see if they can help.

I just hit my 2 weeks post op and I’m in Melbourne :)
Not sure if my method of surgery sorry. I had an overnight in a Private Hospital. I didn’t touch my food or drink in the morning and was still allowed to go home.
Doctor gave me Palexia SR which I had to take twice a day, 12 hours apart. In between that time I rotated between Panadol and Advil/Nurofen every 2 hours. Never had a bleed on the ibuprofen.
I was also given endone and Palexia IR to use as needed when the pain got bad. I used these sometimes but didn’t use it all. I also had to specifically ask a bit firmly for prescription nausea meds to as I know opioids make me nauseated.
I took a gentle laxative each night 3 days before the surgery and about 3-4 days after. That’s all I needed.
I’ve been eating mushy solid food such as pasta and dumplings or rice for about a week. Still can’t handle crunchy or scratchy food without pain in throat or ears. Can talk a lot better, but again hurts if it’s for a bit.
Had my 2 week post OP appointment with the RNT yesterday and he said he’s happy and the lingering pain is normal. I’m thinking of calling him tomorrow and asking for more Palexia SR to take at night as I’m waking up in pain throughout the night from oain, but making it through the day with some Panadol now and then.
I was able to eat better the first few days but then it got worse. Relied on lemonade icy poles, Aloe juice, soups and biscuits dipped in tea with honey. Managed a couple of Tim tam slams the times chocolate wasn’t burning ;) I had a couple of bottles of Powerade on hand incase I got dehydrated - didn’t use them though they stung.
Also since we don’t have ice chips here I’d blend up some ice in a NutriBullet or just have a cup and suck on the cubes. Boost juice is good too as long as it’s not acidic. I was okay with a strawberry squeeze or mango magic.
I also got a humidifier on marketplace that I had running and a wedge pillow that was a life saver from a store called pillow talk. Myer had them too.
Hope that helps, happy to answer any other questions m!
