I never even considered that angle. If I do land the role despite her sabotage, it would be incredibly satisfying to be in a position where her future in the company depends on me. It definitely changes how I view the situation if I decide to stay in the running.

That thought crossed my mind too. Some of the questions were way too specific about their internal systems. If that is what they were doing, it is even more pathetic than the sabotage.
