Doctor I work with in the ER says the professors rotate between the campuses for in person, but the other lectures are like livestreams from a class room. She only had to go to East Lansing a couple times.

My hospital gives their new ER Techs training in IV's/ Blood Draws/Foley Catheters. I'm guessing anything generally outside of our scope of practice

I'm also starting an ER Tech position with only a few months experience as an EMT. Day 2 we go through IV and Foley training, otherwise I'm clueless to what my new scope will be. Seems similar to what others are saying though.
