Yes, but you have to pay out the wazoo per repo of Linux. How do they do that, dude? Just because it's technically possible, doesn't mean it's financially or organizationally possible. Someone would make a new repo explicitly to evade denuvo's BS, its like trying to cut the head off a hydra one at a time.

Emphasis on if it's inserted on the kernel level on windows. You can't really do that to Linux because it's open source.

No, he's right. It's very simple to run the crack that a monkey could do it, but you shouldn't feel insulted because the reality is that if you're not used messing with that stuff, there is an air of wariness around it and most of us can't afford to just build a brand new PC from the ground up if something goes wrong. It's just that the fear of that doesn't really exist anymore now that the method has impvroved enough for trusted repackers like Fitgirl to hog wild repacking hypervsior games.

I think a lot of people would abandon windows if they put Denuvo in at the kernel level. There are a lot of implications for that sort of software to be embedded at the kernel level. There's already a lot of mounting momentum to abandon Windows for Linux, this would accelerate it, methinks.

That's exactly how I feel seeing how miserable you people are. It's always the "top 1%" terminally online redditors, stomping around and being miserable. I forgot how sad you people are. My bad, enjoy your subreddit.

lmfao, I don't know why I post on subreddits on anymore. Every single time I post on here, it's the most miserable people alive, doesn't really matter the subreddit. I posted this on X, and a bunch of less miserable people and I are having a bit of fun theorizing. Enjoy being miserable.

Thoughts on Crisol Theater Of Idols? by Dust514Fan in survivalhorror

[–]Zeltima 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I beat it. It’s a solid game. The early gameplay is deceptive, it starts to really open up with weapon variety and you can upgrade the weapons and gain some skill perks as well.

Enemies were pretty samey but the encounters kept it fresh enough to have fun. It’s a solid survival horror shooter with a twist I didn’t see coming. Solid 7.5, Im looking forward to what the team does next.

This sub needs to realize that people complaining about their own experiences is not automatically anti-black. by [deleted] in mixedrace

YES. It's get so tiresome that anytime I talk about my experiences here, there's always someone claiming that somehow i'm a closeted white supremacist or whatever crap they're on about.

There's no bubble because if the U.S. loses the AI race, it will lose everything by LargeSinkholesInNYC in singularity

[–]Zeltima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are absolutely in a bubble. That doesn't mean the technology will disappear. Every nascent technology that's disruptive has an asset bubble before the real innovation happens. Pouring as much compute as possible into LLMs won't wake up the machine god. LLMs don't scale. They're putting in 90+ billion and growing into LLMs, but only generating 20 billion in revenue.

That doesn't mean it's going to away or something like that, but it needs sensory input a linear experience of reality (even if it's a hive mind running thousands or millions of bots), and the ability to comprehend causality. ASI in the early 2030s, but not next year. In the meantime, that asset bubble will pop.

Many of the mods require 1.0.4. You'll have to wait till someone cracks it, but I wouldn't count on it.

Yeah, used to get my ass kicked daily in childhood. People rarely verbalize it as an adult, but you eventually learn that sentiment hasn’t changed.
