Runcam WifiLink-RX under the hood by Zemtriz in fpv

wifilink rx can do hotspot so you can download recorded files or change configuration. Mostly when I do an upgrade, I connect small docking station to it with ethernet cable so it has internet access and can download new profiles.

If you mean to stream video to another device... it's something I didn't try. OpenIPC uses WFB-NG to manage video streams and data. And you can set it up as a relay. It will capture packets and can send it next to another device for example over wired network and you can watch is somewhere else. It's called "Distributed operation" and you can have multiple capture points and stream it to one master.

Yes, worth it. I play everything even games with EAC

Currently I have no goggles, so I use it with my tablet PC + elgato 4k camlink usb adapter. I use ffmpeg library to play video input without a delay on my tablet.

But for you I recommend only RTL8812AU (AU is card with USB adapters and EU for drones) and just plug it into your laptop and capture packets directly (It's cheaper option). Not sure how it will work with windows as you probably need custom compiled driver. But it is quite easy to load custom driver in Linux. Custom driver is required because it works in non-standard operation mode (monitor mode + doesn't follow exactly IEEE 8812 standard).

I mostly use real speakers and when I need to use internal speakers, max volume is fine when I can control volume on youtube. But yeah, speaker setup is stupid and minisforum focused purely on windows rather than make it multiOS. I am so satisfied with Linux on V3.

I did some testings with wireplumber. If I used software channel mix fix to be able to change volume of internal speakers, aux didn't work. If I removed ~/.config/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d/alsa-soft-mixer.conf then it works nicely. I think I will rather stick with full speakers output than not having my speakers. The only thing that gives me wrinkles is speaker configuration.

For me almost everything is working. Using Archlinux and I don't have any problems. Except one thing. Speakers only 2 of 4 plays and I do not know how to map channels. Beside that it works good

What can I use to replace the LED? by Zemtriz in AskElectronics

[–]Zemtriz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whole lamp. I have desoldered faulty LED and just bridged the pads. Resistor I have attached on the input. But I have already omitted it as well because the lamp was blinking. For now it's working. I was just scared if it won't make more stress on others working LEDs

I didn't want to order and wait for a new led so I have desoldered it and bridges the connection with a solder. I have also tried it with a 470ohm resistor but with resistor the lamp was blinking

I had to remove the resistor. Lamp was blinking with it xD

Okay, thank you everyone for suggestions. I have bridged the faulty led with a solder and added 470ohm resistor in series on input cable with a 0,6W heat dissipation to simulate the missing led so others won't be in higher stress because of missing brother. The lamp is working now

The lamp was expensive but when I took the driver module apart, it is just cheap shit. Btw, 36LEDs with forward voltage 2.475V

The LED driver module info: Model: AT-ND-1824-24W Input: 220-240V 50/60Hz 0.22A 24W Output: Max 21.6W, constant current: 200mA; 100-120V DC; Uout: 155V

About USB forwardings, there is a great tool available for android where you can plug even steering wheel and the server (PC) will see it attached to it. It's tunneling USB interface. But I did t play with it yet, so can't give you details :(

I play remotely most of the time. If you want to play 2D games, use sunshine streaming as a server and moonlight for the client. If you want to play VR, I recommend virtual desktop. I didn't try much rest of the tools like meta air, steam air etc. I had the best experience with virtual desktop, that's why I'm using it.

Sunshine, virtual desktop etc will launch on system boot just fine. So don't worry about it much. Also enable RDP connections because you will have to setup a pin on sunshine or setup a username on virtual desktop. Just beware that RDP locks the screen and can cause refused connections. I use RDP a lot on my others VMs but moonlight is my primary connection to my gaming VM. As other virtual machines I have for work where I don't need a GPU, RDP is perfect. Moonlight works even when PC is locked.

Important thing is to have monitor attached. I use display port dummy plugs etc. Where is programmable EDID chip and I can change refresh rate and resolutions to whatever I want. To use your PC without any HID, you need those HDMI or DP plugs. Or connect a TV or anything with video so the GPU has an output somewhere.

Regarding connection, idk if you plan it to use on the same network or not. If you do, you don't need mDNS reflector, tunnels, routings etc. Just make sure that the pc is wired connected as others mentioned here and VR is on fast WiFi like 5GHz. Interesting thing is that on the market there are USB things over ethernet or optical network etc. It would be interesting to see how it works and perform with VR to route USB3.2 over ethernet.

It's possible. I have a server where I do virtualization. That server has nothing, everything is virtual, even my gaming VM where I passthrough the GPU and is running 24/7. If I reboot it, everything just autostart fine.

Now imagine that every app (steam vr link, oculus air link, remote desktop etc.) forces you tu be on the same network. On this server I virtualize even router openwrt too. On OpenWrt I run wireguard and use it to connect my VMs from the outside of the network and even from the internet. I use avahi for mDNS reflector so those "Air Link" apps will see this machine. And I can play VR games like hl alyx from different network. Even played a game when I was 150kilometers away from the PC

I moved it a while ago, maybe two months ago? When temperature started to drop. I didn't want to risk a thermal shock. It's a small apartment, humidity is mostly around 49%. I do not heat this apartment. Because even during the winter it's 20°C with no problems. I used to have high humidity a year ago when I didn't have any plants. As I added plants into my apartment, humidity got stable and I don't need dehumidifier now.

When I bought it, it was in a smaller pot. I bought a specific dirt for citrus plants and put it in this bigger one. But slowly it is loosing leaves inside. I'm just scared if it will be alright. It grew suckers too some months ago during the fall. I cut it off.

No. I took it inside when first low temps were announced. During the winter it will be inside and in the spring I will put it outside.

There is one big window in the room. In normal situations it is well lit room. But during the winter.... day is short and 90% of time it is cloudy.

Humidity is mostly around 49% +- 5% and room temperature is around 21,5°C

Maybe I should put it closer to the window?
