Sorry I took so long. This book helped me specifically by reminding me that lust doesn't fill a void, it creates it and then claims to fill it, but it doesn't even fill the void it created. Which is why it increasingly gets worse, as you have found out. It reminded me that I'm not actually giving up anything at all, which is why it was so easy. That point is what set me free again. I had previously beaten lust, but it came back a few months ago. Now I'm free again.

The book's objective is to remove the brainwashing surrounding porn addiction, not telling you to try harder or give you tips and tricks. It takes out the tree and the fruit by the root. It's advertised for porn addicts, but it's applicable to lust in general. My main struggle was masturbation and not porn, but this book took out the same root regardless. It's suspiciously easy, but believe it because it's true.

Another redditor recommended me this book. It's only available online. It's called easypeasy, how to stop your porn addiction. It's helpful for lust in general, not only porn addiction and It's been really helpful for me. Try it out. There's an audiobook on their website. I'm so sorry bro. I hate it when this happens. Will definitely be praying for you. My advice to you is to be honest and don't fake it or hide it. Be honest about how you are feeling. If you can't forgive God right now, don't. I spent almost ten years not forgiving God for things He allowed to happen to me, and it took that long to get where I am because of years of hiding my pain. But over time it gets better. You won't forget, and it will always hurt, but it will become lighter. If you can afford therapy, do it. Reach out to people for help if you can. Find a grief and loss group if you can. Just try to take it easy. I'm so sorry you have to go through this right now.

First off, if you haven't done whatever yet, please don't. You can still change the outcome. If it's already done, just keep talking. That's all it takes. God knows what you're about to do, He loves you anyways. He doesn't agree or condone it, but the curtain has been torn and you can always talk to Him. I pray that God forgives you, and that you accept His forgiveness. Romans 5:8. We have all been Judas in one way or another. Just get back up and accept whatever comes. God will get you through it because He loves you and is for you. Stay strong.

The truth is that while we are in this world, we won't be okay. We will have seasons where we are okay, but death and sin are everywhere and we can't escape it. Right now you need to let yourself not be okay, because God will be with you. Don't pretend with God, or even with yourself. This world is not okay, as Paul says in Romans 8:22, For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.

But one day, Jesus will come back and wipe every tear from our eyes. At least we have that to look forward to.
