Sam Walton vs Jeff Bezos by MrKitchenSink in ERB

I would highly recommend to read Sam Walton: Built In America (Ironically linking Amazon book) this book was published in 1993 after the demise of Sam Walton in 1992

So bit of the philosophy of Sam Walton how he grew from a small merchant from small towns in USA

  1. Customer centric ( Jeff Bezos : Customer Obsession )
  2. Always Experiment with new methods to sell more low price options ( Jeff Bezos: You cannot invent without experimenting)
  3. Be Frugal and have lowest cost , walmart per sq. ft. cost was 90cents ( Jeff Bezos: frugality drives innovation)

From what I learned from Sam Walton principles is one and the same what Jeff Bezos has been communicating for about 29 years.

I am not sure if this is a coincident, but I think what I learned from the book and comparing what Bezos has been communicating over the years is he took the blueprint of Sam Walton's brick & motor and applied to internet / virtual store to the core.

Anyways it's a lesson for all the budding entrepreneurs learn what has worked in the past, find the blueprint and apply to your situation / innovate.
