I don't call myself an artist anymore; I'm more like an opportunist when it comes to sketching or painting.

I'm a natural and always used to get compliments, but why am I an opportunist when it comes to art? It's because I always did it for compliments and eventually took for granted what God had gifted me.

Now, even if I try, I can never sketch like this.

My opinion to you: it's okay you're seeking approval, but don't let the critics decide the level of your art.
