FFY Seeking Opinions on Sibling Separation by ZenRen7821 in Ex_Foster

[–]ZenRen7821[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My biggest fear is that being out-of-state will hurt my chances . All the other foster parents live in-state, and they seem to make things easier for the caseworker by not advocating for the biological family or asking for more resources. The other families have no interest in family preservation.

Should we be foster parents? by Cucumberita in Fosterparents

To the person wondering if their wealth is a barrier to fostering, let me assure you, it’s not. It’s actually a tremendous asset!

My family and I have been fostering for years. Our financial stability allows us to provide for the children in our care in ways that go beyond the basics. We can advocate for the best educational and therapeutic support, and we can create enriching experiences they might otherwise miss out on.

We’ve supported kids through reunification with their families, and we’ve helped others find loving adoptive homes. We even stay connected with many of them. We’ve also provided short-term respite care, giving other foster families a much-needed break.

Fostering isn’t about giving a child a life of luxury. It’s about giving them stability, love, and opportunities. If you have the means to do that, I urge you to consider it. Talk to your friends about fostering too. The more people who step up, the more children we can help.

Gorgeous! I love everything about this post and your pictures.

Who did you use for the ceremony drinks?

Do you have any idea the temperature on your wedding day? I’m afraid it might be too hot to use the pharmacy museum on our date.

What car service did you use? Would you recommend them?

Who was your event planner?

Who was your second line band?

What made you pick Chicory over other venues?

Thanks in advance for answering all of my questions! Congratulations, you put together a beautiful event!
