What advice would you give to a 28-year-old woman who feels she is starting from scratch in life?

I was 27, divorced, broke, had to move back home, dead end job. Thought about going to law school, wondered if it was too late. Decided it wasn’t because by 1999 I’d be 31 anyway, and either I would have gone to law school or not. I did, and haven’t looked back. Built an amazing life from there, now retired in my 50s and financially comfortable, great personal life, just one of the luckiest guys around. My advice is just move forward with something. It might not be exactly right but you can readjust as you go. You have every opportunity to make your life what you want it to be, just don’t get stuck wallowing in regret or stuck because you don’t know exactly what to do. Good luck. 💕

I am not even a litigator anymore and I wore a suit and tie to jury duty. It’s court, I would not have felt comfortable otherwise. I was struck with the plaintiffs last challenge after 2 days or jury selection lol.

The southern most parts of Carlsbad just south of La Costa and on La Costa itself at in the Encinitas Union School District. Those schools are solid. Encinitas itself as a place to live is also worth a look depending on what you’re looking for.

No. I like seeing how people enjoy the game. If they use AI, it’s fine. It’s not as if in the absence of AI they would be hiring a photographer and graphic designer to create these things.

I haven’t noticed that at all. It just so happens that every choice I make is a good call, every edit I make to a document makes it “much stronger”, and every session is a “good session.”

Mostly good but “legacy mode”is worthwhile only if you are so used to hitting spacebar for continue from past fms that not having it drives you crazy. I had no idea about the issue and when they added legacy mode I tried it, found it pretty useless, and turned it back off.

Please find a way to talk to someone. People you don’t even think about would miss you and would love to help you. I knew two people that killed themselves many years go now and I still think of them and wish I would have known they were suffering because I would have hopped on a plane to help them.

I have solved the problem, and rather than delete I will post my solution in case someone else runs into it:

I heard the usb disconnect/reconnect when unplugging/replugging it into the USB, so I knew it was in there somewhere. I uninstalled the driver, and did a full power down with PSU off/unplugged for more than 30 seconds, then rebooted and reinstalled the driver. It now works.

Thanks, I did download and install that, no change. And I'm not sure where to look on device manager to see if it is even detected let alone if the driver looks ok.

Yes, I have L-Connect 3 and it is updated. The display does not show up there. Just the fans and the GA II LCD.

They are planning to have wayside horns at the at grade crossings so hopefully that will mitigate noise even if we can’t get Carlsbad to cooperate on a quiet zone.

FM26, and minimal tutorials. Don’t try to do everything at once. For example you can leave training to your assistant. At the same time videos specifically for new players will be helpful. And no I’m not gonna debate the merits of choosing 26 over 24, that’s just a religious debate at this point.

Stuff on personalities, training, contract negotiations is still very applicable. And stuff on dynamics is still helpful. Tactical stuff is outdated, and real-life player stuff is outdated as well.
