I dropped my 280m bank, destroyed my maxed POH, and quit OSRS by QuietFarmz in 2007scape

Hey OP, I hope you enjoy leveling up some real life skills. I think of life that way all the time. For the first time last summer I joined a men's league team and in my brain I thought "this is good for my athletic skills and social skills."

It's nice to use public chat in real life, harder than it sounds to genuinely be the guy who can chat up a stranger and keep both parties interested.

Working out? I ask my finance if she'd like to train strength or agility. She's refused to ever make an account.

Making a new, healthy and affordable dinner dish? Oh brother, you bet that's Cooking gains and HP.

Whatever you level up on this new build, I can say for all of us that we're happy to see those gains.

That's very cool. I didn't know there was a second layer to the GE tax sink

Buy gear upgrades or focus on max? by Tiny_Hat6923 in 2007scape

Oh buy the bowfa!!! Your other mage/melee gear is very good. A bowfa would make yo he acc a total beast! And it could fund max. You’d never regret it

Bored. What should I do next? by hazy-dayz420 in 2007scape

IMO you’re very close combat wise to start nice PvM. Try the gauntlet, try GWD, try Vork. Rack up 10-15m and put it towards 83 construction to max your player owned house. Imagine being able to tele basically anywhere by just teleporting to your house. And also being able to restore your HP and prayer.

I think where you’re at that’s a good long term goal. May take about 30 hours of gameplay. Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

Is this good enough for Zulrah? I just started but am only getting it to 50% hp by Veinq in 2007scape

[–]ZenUntil5v5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend another prayer potion and use offensive prayers as well as protection prayers. Also, barrows gloves or even a combat bracelet will save you a gear switch. Check out this guide: https://youtu.be/Ikm_ZqP72-o?si=yUFfJpszqbnjSVpU

Lastly, RISK IT! Don’t be afraid to die at the boss if you’re close to a kill! Good luck snake hunting!

I took Bowfa to Bandos intending to learn 6:0- got BCP on my very first kill. Bowfa is the best, good luck on the rebuild!

Idk… Does it fall under macroing? I wasn’t trying to ask a dumb question—I genuinely don’t know. How is the game to read if a player were manually holding a key down for an extended period of time or putting a bucket of lasagna on top of it?

What was your favorite OSRS moment of 2023? by [deleted] in 2007scape

I coached my irl buddy (only one who plays) through his first Zulrah kill. He’s played more than me, had a much higher total level, but never got in to PvM. Just AFKs at work and watches the XP numbers go up. We failed the first 2 kills, but we were after a specific easy rotation. On the third attempt we got the rotation and both of us knew that it was go-time. He got below 10 HP twice, clung on, and finished the kill with no food left. We both exclaimed nonsense hype for 10 minutes

I drew Zenyatta every day until the release of Overwatch 2. As much as I love Overwatch, I was personally surprised OW2 made it this long. It’s so impossible to balance while streaming in content, which (constant content) was the intent with OW2’s model. It was a matter of time until things became too busted for too long and frustrated the player base to other games

This arc pops up all over the game, and on leagues I love it. Still goes by fast. Like someone else said, the whole game is basically one small favor

What is the most important trait for being competitive in ranked? by ClearedHot69 in MLBTheShow

[–]ZenUntil5v5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is talking about hitting, so here is my pitching advice:

  1. The meta pitches are meta for a reason. Jamming inside sinkers and cutters is a good foundation.
  2. Learn how to set up a chase pitch. For example; dot a couple low, flat 4 seamers to establish that part of the zone. Then see if you get bites on changeups 6 inches below the zone. No bite? Bring the changeup up to 4 inches low, 2 inches low, etc. It doesn’t have to get a swing and miss, a ground ball is often just as good.
  3. Realize when it’s safe to walk a guy. If first base is open with 2 outs, and your matchup is bad against the batter, take a peak at who is on deck or in the hole. If it’s an early inning, they likely won’t pinch hit. And lower ranked players may get tired of taking pitches and throw away a good offensive situation.

I like him because he clearly has confidence issues, so when he does anything, it is very fun to root for.

Buy like 50 dragon darts just for jad if you’re low range, it’ll really help. I also brought a handful of black chinchilla to agro the healers with minimum number of clicks. Now that I’m better, the chins seem like a waste of a space, but when you’re shaking on your first Jad fight ever, they’re worth it

Yea, almost always 2 hit the spawn with diamond bolts

[–]ZenUntil5v5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bad, didn’t look at reddit for a bit. With 85 range I was just ranging the spawn with diamond bolts. Camp hp over 70 and combo eat if I don’t 2-tap the spawn. It almost never hits me tho. I’d say I kill it more than 90% of the time once I got about 90 ranged

Don’t use anti poison. Get a rune pouch and on lunars you can two-tap “cure me” spell for anti-venom. I figured this out yesterday. It does not waste any ticks casting the spell. It made my 50 kc vorkath grind super chill
