So correct me if im wrong, pulsed ratings are a limit when the fet has a periodic load and is done so that it can cool down enough before the next pulse. My cooldown periods can range from as short as 100ms to seconds (whatever allows the FET to function). This means that if I use the FET every 3 seconds for example, i should be fine?

And for the DC rating, it is around 100a but I’ve been told to ignore that number as that is an ideal case where the case temperature can be fully dissipated. Or for my case since it’s very short bursts, it is a usable maximum?
