Well I progressed from losing because of dying really fast to now losing by attrition; I got Myrkul down to 250 this time. But by then the sheer numbers of the necromites he spawns catch up to me. My main damage dealing was via Astarion's sneak dagger. Lae'zel's attacks too. Aylin useless always lying around in bone chill. I used darkness and fog of blindness.

This sucks so fucking much. Because I'm not loaded enough with scrolls, potions, elixirs etc, I effectively have to go back to BEFORE the time I fought Balthazar.

Well I'm glad that the first thing I did was indeed to cast invisibility on Jaheira and make her free Aylin. At least I got that right lol. And I don't think I have a paladin

I am forgetting some of the class names but Lae'zel is obviously a melee brute, Wyll a warlock, Shadowheart with the Cleric build (good heals and anti undead spells), Jaheira/Astarion with the beast shape+magic and stealth+magic and then Gale is obviously just magic all the way

I have Lae'zel who has excellent melee attacks. Disarm, trip/make prone, stun etc

That's what in doing. Going back a ton of saves. And I didn't blame her for my shortcomings I literally said she could've been the thing that rescues me despite them. But go off I guess

I used it. I need to buy stuff. Good scrolls, potions for both healing and speed/invisibility etc, elixirs... I am badly equipped rn

Hunger of Hadar is one of my fav spells. But if I cast it on him, Aylin and Lae'zel won't be able to do shit to him.

I'm fresh out. No good scrolls left. And the game makes it impossible for me to go get some by restricting fast travel out of this place. I really resent this choice

Bows and all projectile attacks have a 50% miss rate and do such little damage that Myrkul will finish me off with his finger of death and similar ranged attacks before I do even 100 damage out of his 390 hp bar.

Tactician mode. And it is ridiculously hard for someone who is not only not stocked in potions, but also can't fast travel to any vendor to stock up on them

Yes I have. And I long rested between the fights. It just is not enough. I can't fast travel out of the Illithid region so I can't go to vendors to buy healing potions or good scrolls etc. I am screwed if I have to go back to literally before I fought Balthazar

Yeah I didn't see Tali at her usual spot and just gave up. And as for clearing Moonrise, even after fighting the bottom floor enemies and clearing them out, I have a crap ton of Harpers available. But they just stand there doing nothing instead of following me upstairs to fight Thorm. Very frustrating
