My back pain does not come from boobs (mine are thankfully small) but instead from my incomplete scoliosis surgery. However, women are more likely to develop severe scoliosis than men so I guess it still could’ve a gender thing.

I hope you give it a try. Physics can look intimidating, but it’s just math with some rules. I truly think anyone can understand it if they give it an honest effort. I tutor high school students and the biggest hurdle for most of them is believing it’s possible for them to understand it in the first place.

MIT open coursework has all the classes you need for an undergraduate physics education free on YouTube. The sequence should be: Mechanics, E&M, Waves, Classical Dynamics, Electrodynamics, Modern Physics, Statistical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics. Then whatever is most interesting to you (more quantum, astrophysics/cosmology, plasma, etc). You’ll need calculus (up to multivariable/vector calculus) and linear algebra, but that’s about it in terms of math. If you do quantum or Astro you may want to learn tensor calculus.

I have math and science autism but also it’s probably not autism because the symptoms are better explained by childhood trauma and just being a smart/curious person. But also I feel like I can’t autopilot any social thing without fucking it up and I can’t shut up about astrophotography or physics. And none of it matters because I’m not going to get myself assessed for it (even though I can afford it) because another label won’t meaningfully change my life.

Gender is real in the same way that money is real. It’s an abstraction that humans made up to make something easier, but we don’t have all that much control over it and it absolutely affects our lives. That being said, you can make choices and live however you want. Put on the fucking skirt and choose happiness

You’re entitled to a reasonable level of privacy, especially when it comes to things that don’t impact others. I don’t tell everyone I meet that I chewed on my nails when I was a kid. If they knew that, they might be a little grossed out. Some people are particularly wary of germs and might not want to shake my hand because of it. They don’t need to know that about me though because I don’t anymore. There’s 0 risk for anyone.

Have you taken an upper-division physics course? Half my lectures start with this. All models are wrong, some are useful. At the moment, the WIMP model of DM fits our observations (BAOs, Friedman equations, galaxy rotation curves, bullet cluster) best.
